'KUWTK': Lamar Odom Working To Get Better For Christmas With Kids, And Khloé?

With the holidays fast approaching, it sounds like Lamar Odom will get to spend Christmas out of the hospital, and in a more comfortable rehab facility, with his kids, his ex wife Liza Morales, and perhaps his soon to be ex wife Khloé Kardashian, hopefully, minus the Keeping Up With The Kardashian cameras. Currently, Odom is allegedly working hard to make this a reality, and not the television kind.

According to the Inquisitr, Lamar Odom is still not able to walk, and is having trouble remembering his name and others. Lamar Odom's medical bills are through the roof, and the question is out there about how he will pay for his recovery. The answer seems to be allowing his recovery to be a feature of KUWTK as he hopefully regains his mental capacity. Also, with bills mounting, will Khloé Kardashian make her divorce final as not to be financially responsible? It seems a deal with the devil may be looming.

"The family is continuing to be optimistic about having him into a rehab center before Christmas," a source tells E! News. "Either way his kids are flying out to be with him, whether it's at Cedars or the new center in Calabasas that he will be relocated to."

But, Odom has progressed to sometimes using a walker.

"A source told us this week that the 6-foot-10 athlete is visibly 'struggling' with his rehabilitation and still is not walking entirely on his own, switching between a walker and a wheelchair."
"Odom is dad to 13-year-old Lamar Jr. and 17-year-old Destiny with ex Liza Morales. They also flew to be by their dad's side when he was first hospitalized in Vegas."

"Lamar's two children from his former marriage with Liza Morales, 36, Destiny Odom, 17, and Lamar Odom Jr., 13, are going to fly to L.A. to spend Christmas with their father, a source recently told Us Weekly. 'He has fought to get better mostly for them,' the source said. Lamar and Liza lost their youngest son, 6-month-old Jayden, to SIDS in 2006."
"We're happy to hear that Lamar will once again be surrounded by those who matter most on Christmas!"

"Lamar Odom will be spending Christmas with his kids and hopes to leave the hospital soon. And his kids have become very close with him after his near-fatal overdose."
"Lamar wants to get out of the hospital and into rehab by Christmas, though sources say that may not happen. Either way, Lamar will be spending the holidays with his children Lamar Jr. and Destiny."
