Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton Rumored To Be On Path To Parenthood

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have inspired countless tabloid rumors since they went public with their relationship (and even more before the announcement) earlier this year, and now several stories are circulating around the Web that the couple are already talking about having a baby together.

Although their relationship isn’t very old — Stefani and her ex, Gavin Rossdale, just announced their split not long before she admitted she’s been seeing Shelton — several media sources say that Stefani and Blake are very serious about one another and are planning to start their own family. Stefani, who has three boys with Rossdale, has confirmed through her reps that she is not pregnant, but that isn’t stopping the rumor mill from churning.

“They’re talking about having babies. He’d love to have a baby with her… Gwen is all for expanding her brood,” a source tells StarPulse.

Of course, with a couple as famous as Shelton and Stefani, and with a fan base built in through their time together on The Voice, rumors are always bound to make the rounds. The duo continue to shy away from questions about their relationship, especially when they’re being interviewed together, but have been spotted sharing some serious PDA since going public with their love, and Stefani even Facetimed Shelton while she was on a trip to Disneyland with her sons recently.

Stories about the couple began to pop up online after their flirtation amped up on The Voice. After Stefani dressed as a cowgirl for Halloween, fans began to get suspicious. The relationship comes after Gwen Stefani’s sudden split from Rossdale, who reportedly cheated on her with their nanny. Stefani said in a recent interview that she never expected to be divorced, and she used her musical talents to get through the heartache.

“I went into the studio… everybody knows, pretty much, what happened to me. I got a divorce, which was completely not in the plan at all. I don’t know. For me, it surely wasn’t. A shock. A horrible, crazy year and explosion in my life,” Gwen Stefani told Elvis Duran last week.

Stefani penned the hit single, “Used To Love You,” following the dissolution of her marriage and recently received some praise from Shelton when she performed it live on The Voice.

Gwen has definitely made an impression on her other Voice co-stars since she began filling in on the show for Christina Aguilera; recently, they sat down for an interview with Extra and talked about how much they’re going to miss her when Aguilera — who has been on maternity leave — comes back.

“I don’t want Gwen to not be on the show,” Shelton said. “Why can’t we have a fifth coach?”

Stefani continues to slay in her role of style icon, showing off her eclectic fashion choices on the show and sharing them on Twitter with her myriad of fans. The No Doubt singer has inspired trends across the world while making an effort to reach out to her fans on social media, earning their loyalty even as she garners displeasure from fans of Shelton’s ex, Miranda Lambert.
