‘Teen Mom OG’ Spoilers: What Are The Girls Dealing With Now?

Teen Mom OG returns to MTV in just a few weeks. This installment features the original girls from Teen Mom and focuses on what they are doing with their lives now, six to seven years after their children were born. Last season was filled with antics thanks to Farrah Abraham and while she is still carrying the drama with her, she isn’t the most messy one this time around.

In a new Teen Mom OG promo clip recently released, Gary Shirley can be seen telling his lawyer that Amber Portwood’s fiancé has seven children. While it isn’t clear how Portwood responds to the accusations, she clearly believes she knows everything about Matt Baier. The two have been engaged for a little over a year. Baier popped the question during the filming of Teen Mom OG last year and when it aired in May, Portwood confirmed she was still engaged to him. There is a wedding date set for October 2016 right now. Much of this season will be focusing on Leah spending time with both Portwood and Shirley. After being out in the real world for three years, Amber Portwood believes it is time to have joint custody with Gary Shirley.

There will be some Teen Mom OG drama from Farrah Abraham, too. According to Us Weekly, Abraham and her mother, Debra, will have a very heated confrontation. These two have fought back and forth for several years now, much of it documented on earlier seasons of Teen Mom. There have been rumors of Abraham walking off the set while filming, as well, with her going so far as to call the show “trash.” Many fans have spoken out against her comments, but it looks like she is standing by what has been said. When Teen Mom OG premieres in just a few weeks, much of the drama from Farrah Abraham will be addressed.

Maci Bookout will be stressed out during Teen Mom OG this season. She is having ongoing issues with Ryan Edwards, but that isn’t anything new. The two have been butting heads since Bentley has been born and with Edwards’ parents helping Bookout to raise the child. Last season was brutal to watch, as Edwards often left Bentley behind with his parents and went out with his girlfriend. Bookout is also trying to get Taylor McKinney to commit to something more than just live-in status. The two welcomed a daughter approximately six months ago. Will Maci Bookout be engaged by the end of filming Teen Mom OG?

Finally, Teen Mom OG fans will get to watch Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra tie the knot. This is a love story that has beat all the odds and flourished beautifully. According to Wetpaint, Catelynn battles anxiety and depression, which worsened with the arrival of Nova. Teen Mom OG filmed scenes where she was at some low points but by speaking out, she is hoping to help someone else dealing with the same issues. Not only will the wedding be shown, but many more tender moments between the couple will be featured. As they navigate married life and being new parents together, the Baltierras will find out it isn’t always as easy as it seems.

The premiere for Teen Mom OG on MTV is Jan. 4. Fans are already anticipating the drama that will ensue from the four ladies, though the nuptials between Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are going to be one of the biggest moments of the season. There are many milestones coming up for the ladies which will be addressed, but there will also be setbacks. Don’t forget to tune in to MTV on Jan. 4 to watch the season premiere of Teen Mom OG.
