Did Meek Mill And Nicki Minaj Get Engaged? New Instagram Photo Sparks Engagement Rumours Anew

Nicki Minaj just posted photos early Thursday showing a huge diamond sparkler on her finger on Instagram, giving fuel to the ongoing rumors that the two recently got engaged, People reports.

Nicki Minaj’s caption for the Instagram photo read as follows:

“Now this is what I’m talking about baby. Lol. Love u.”

The second Instagram photo had the caption, “This stone is flawless. (My voice) lol 👸🏽💍💎💍💎💍💎💍💎💍💎💍💎💍💎💍.” Nicki Minaj sure loves her emojis.

The celebrity couple didn’t say outright that they have plans of getting married soon, but Nicki herself bolstered the engagement speculation when she tweeted back in April three Emojis – a diamond ring, a heart, and a big diamond – accompanied by the caption “I’ll post it later.”

Nicki Minaj made good on her word later that day by posting an Instagram photo showing a new big diamond ring on her index finger.

Again, no word on whether Meek Mill has popped the question yet, but given the level of enthusiasm in Minaj’s tweets, many fans have arrived at the notion that the two are now engaged but decided to stay mum about it.

Engagement talks died down a little when the Mill and Minaj denied a month later that they have plans of getting married any time soon.

“(Our relationship) is definitely real, but it ain’t really time to get married yet,” Meek Mill told The Fader. “We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”

Fans do have a good reason to not take Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj at their word. After all, the famous couple kept their relationship a secret for weeks before Minaj finally confirmed in March via an interview with BBC1 Xtra Radi that they are officially dating.

“We’re just super compatible and just be having fun together. We are just having fun together nah mean. When the kid do it, the kid get it done, nah mean?”

A report by Fashion & Style in March also gives credence to the speculation that Meek and Nicki have been planning on tying the knot for some time.

“Meek is in love with Nicki and he is telling his friends that he is waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question. He [Meek Mill] knows that Nicki is almost ready to get married and have babies. Her biological clock is ticking and he is taking full advantage of that.”

Since revealing their relationship to fans, Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj haven’t been exactly shy about piling on the PDA at every opportunity, especially on social media.

“She do that with me, so I make sure I support her the same way and give her the same. She can’t be on there flaunting me and I’m just not saying nothing, so I make sure I flaunt that too.”

And judging by Meek’s words below, it looks like he may have found his dream girl with Nicki Minaj.

“It’s a dream for me to be in any of these positions. I be waking up in the bed, see Nicki, and just go back to sleep like, ‘Oh, this must be a dream. Let me wake back up again.”

Meek Mill has collaborated with Nicki Minaj several times, the most recent of which is for the track “All Eyes On You” with Chris Brown.
