Jenelle Evans And Nathan Griffith Continue To Feud Amid ‘Teen Mom 2’ Engagement Rumors, She Quits Show?

Jenelle Evans and her former fiancé, Nathan Griffith, appear to be at war over MTV’s decision to continue to include him in the upcoming seventh season of Teen Mom 2. While the network hasn’t yet confirmed news of the season, Jenelle Evans spoke of filming recently on Twitter, claiming that after learning of her ex-fiancé’s filming schedule, she decided to quit the show.

As Starcasm revealed over the weekend, Jenelle Evans told fans she was “done with the show” after accusing MTV of losing focus on what the show was supposed to be about.

“Isn’t #TeenMom [supposed] to be about being a teen parent?!! I’m confused, the focus seems to have shifted…”

Jenelle Evans rose to fame in 16 & Pregnant, and has been starring in Teen Mom 2 for the last six seasons. However, it appears the upcoming seventh season won’t feature much of the longtime reality star, as she confirmed she would not be seen in tweets the following day.

“Still standing my ground. Done with the show #teenmom2 sorry everyone! Hope everyone was able to relate to my story while it lasted.”

Meanwhile, as news swirls regarding Jenelle Evans’ MTV exit, a source claims her former fiancé is more focused on the show than his own son, Kaiser.

“MTV has been filming Nathan lately,” a friend of Jenelle Evans told Radar Online on December 8. “He has been filming without his son and with his friends… It seems like he cares more about being on TV than his child. It’s weird.”

According to the source, Griffith hasn’t made an effort to see his and Jenelle Evans’ son for a while, and didn’t even reach out on Thanksgiving.

“Nathan hasn’t spoken to [Jenelle Evans]. He tried reaching out to a friend of hers after her Instagram got hacked, but [Jenelle Evans] hasn’t heard from him since that, [and] it doesn’t surprise [Jenelle Evans] that this is what he is doing because something — gym, tanning, filming — has always been more important than Kai to Nathan.”

Jenelle Evans began dating Griffith in 2013, but in 2015, the couple called it quits just months after getting engaged as cameras rolled for Teen Mom 2 Season 6. And now, it has been rumored that Griffith has gotten engaged on the show for a second time. While he has since denied the report on Twitter, rumors continue to swirl due to his girlfriend Jessica Henry’s recent photos, which feature a suspicious ring on her finger.

As Jenelle Evans’ ex and his girlfriend, or possibly his fiancée, grow closer, continuing to pose for lovey-dovey photos, she claims to be happy in her own new relationship with David Eason, who she began dating a few months ago. In the last several weeks, Jenelle Evans and Eason have gone on at least two trips together, one to St. Thomas, and another to New York City, and during their trip to the Big Apple, they took Jenelle Evans’ son, Kaiser, along.

Although it is unclear how MTV feels about Jenelle Evans’ confirmation of quitting the series, fans won’t go without seeing her during Season 7, as she and Eason have been rumored to have already filmed scenes for the show. That said, her role could be more limited than that of her co-stars, including Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Leah Messer, who may be filming in the upcoming weeks.
