Duggar Family Fighting Over Decision To Put Anna Duggar On New Special During Hard Time

The Duggar family is returning to television, and what was supposed to be a special all about Jill and Jessa is turning into so much more. The previews have already revealed that Anna Duggar will be on the upcoming special and will be talking about her hard times with Josh Duggar. ET Online shared that the entire Duggar family is not okay with having Anna on the special, though. They are having a few arguments on this decision, but, of course, when you have over 20 people in a family, they are all going to have different opinions.

A source close to the Duggar family is speaking out about it all and said it is “turning into a circus,” and “family members are disagreeing with a lot of what they are doing.” One thing that they can’t agree on is the fact that Anna Duggar is going to be on the special. Some people feel like “at a time like this” they should have never put her on the show. As you can see in the preview for the new special Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Anna is heartbroken by what happened with Josh.

The Duggar’s are staying quiet about who made the decision to put Anna Duggar on this special or if that is what Anna really wanted. Anna doesn’t work and Josh is still in rehab, so the paycheck from the show had to be one thing that Anna probably needed right now. Jessa and Jill will also talk about their brother Josh Duggar on the special. It will be about how life is now for these older Duggar girls, but it will also focus some on what happened with Josh.

The source close to the Duggar family went on to explain more about what is going on right now. The source said “certain members of the family are more focused on ratings and a paycheck than actually focusing on the issues at hand,” adding that some members of the Duggar family have “chosen not to participate in the special out of respect to the serious ordeal the family has been going through in the last months.” It has not been revealed yet who will not be part of the special, but viewers can’t wait to see it.

In Touch Weekly shared that Anna Duggar was cheated on by her husband when he found women on the website Ashley Madison to sleep with even while Anna was pregnant with their youngest daughter. Anna Duggar was really concerned after hearing the news and was tested for STDs just in case. Luckily, Anna was given a clean bill of health from the doctors. At this time, it is still unknown if Anna will end up staying with Josh. A source shared the details about this recently.

“It’s been really stressful for Anna. She’s contemplating divorce, but now Josh wants them to renew their wedding vows in front of both of their families.”

Jill and Jessa have a lot of different things going on with their lives now that they have moved out of the Duggar family home. They both have their own children now and during the filming of the special Jessa was still pregnant. Jill and her husband, Derick, have been doing missionary work. This should all also be on the upcoming specials about the Duggar family now.

Don’t miss Jill & Jessa: Counting On when it premieres on December 13 on TLC. This special will air for three weeks, and word is that if the ratings are great, they could decide to bring it back as a full series.
