‘RHOBH’ Yolanda Foster Makes First Post-Divorce Appearance, Lists Reasons For Split: ‘Work, My Health, His Job, The Children’

Yolanda Foster hit the red carpet on Thursday night for the premiere party of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6. Just days after announcing her divorce from David Foster, after just four years of marriage, Yolanda Foster did her best to stay positive, and looked amazing in a white gown in her first post-divorce appearance.

Foster announced she and her husband were calling it quits on Tuesday, just hours before the Season 6 premiere was aired on Bravo. Then, during the episode, Yolanda was seen struggling with her Lyme disease, as David was nowhere in sight. Instead, Yolanda was supported by her friend, Angie Simpson, the mother of her daughter’s ex-boyfriend, Cody Simpson (Gigi Hadid dated Simpson for years before splitting in the spring).

Although she didn’t mention that David had been lacking in support, it certainly seemed that way. As Foster broke down in tears to her friend, and struggled to get through a birthday dinner for Lisa Rinna, it was hard not to feel bad for the mother of three — especially after Lisa Vanderpump’s husband, Ken Todd, took aim at her looks, admitting that while he told her she looked great, he wasn’t being honest.

Following what has surely been a difficult week, Yolanda rejoined her co-stars — including Vanderpump, Kim and Kyle Richards, Brandi Glanville, Kathryn Edwards and Erika Jayne — in Los Angeles to celebrate the newest season of the show, and during the event, she dished on her split.

“I keep going, one foot in front of the other,” Foster explained to Entertainment Tonight Online on December 3. “Obviously, this is a difficult time and I’m heartbroken, but [I’m] grateful to have my job and be dressed and up out of the bed.”

During the season six premiere, Yolanda revealed she was often unable to go to events due to the side effects of Lyme disease. She also arrived without her makeup and hair done to Rinna’s party, of which her co-stars took note.

“It’s just life. I’m sure you’ve all witnessed a break-up. It’s life. Work, my health, his job, the children — life is overwhelming for everybody. It’s a lot of work to keep it all together.”

As for how she’s coping with her split, Foster said she was leaning on her children for support. Prior to her marriage to David, she was married to Mohamed Hadid, and the former couple shares three children.

“My Gigi, my Bella and my Anwar. My forever. I guess that’s my only forever,” Yolanda said while speaking to People Magazine.

“I hope to be moving forward to a brighter future and I’m just trying to get through it one day at a time,” Foster added, during an interview with Us Weekly on December 4.

Yolanda Foster’s Lyme disease struggles with continue as the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs. In addition, fans may be seeing more of what led Foster to her decision to end her marriage. However, since the split wasn’t announced until after the season wrapped, it’s hard to say for sure how much of her marital troubles will be shown.
