Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber seem to be rewinding their romance, and it’s making fans of both pop stars go into OMG orbit. Add in a push from Drake, and could the return of “Jelena” be near?
What happened seemed like a simple serenade, but when it’s Selena and Justin, the Internet explodes, reported E! News.
Officially, Gomez is no longer with the pop idol, but then came the video showing Bieber performing “My Girl” to Selena, followed by a slow dance. Lindsey Cavanaugh, the Eat Pray Photo photographer who captured the sweet scene, gave her interpretation.
“They were honestly mesmerizing to watch slow dance,” declared Cavanaugh. “My business partner gave him the thumbs up and he gave it back to her and laughed, then dipped Selena all the way to the floor.”
That was followed by Gomez perching on the table, and then came the serenade of “My Girl.” When that happened, the ultimate romantic moment ensued, added the photographer.
“Shortly after that, she sat on the table and he somehow started singing ‘My Girl.’ She was smiling and in that moment, didn’t look like Selena Gomez, rather a girl at a bar being doted on by her first love,” added Lindsey.
The serenade was followed by a walk in Beverly Hills, during which Selena was seen with a hand on her former boyfriend’s shoulder. But if you’re longing for details of any additional PDA, don’t ask Gomez.
“I’m just tired of talking about it,” insisted Selena. “I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story.”
That’s what Gomez says, but Justin appears to have a different idea. Bieber caused fans of the couple to go wild when he shared a throwback photo of Selena with him. When he realized that his fans were going wild, he tried to stop the frenzy.
“Just a throwback calm down,” said Justin.
Drake expressed his sorrow that the couple weren’t reuniting.
“Damn thought this was a Jelena current day flick,” bewailed Drake.
So, what do the two stars at the center of the maybe-a-romance-renewal think?
“I love to be in love, and I love cuddling,” declared Bieber. “I love all that stuff, but I got my heart broken, so I’m just trying to let that heal up.”
“I think people really wanted to see me fail,” said Selena. “I’d sit down in an interview and get the most harshly asked questions. Of course I got my heart broken. Of course I was pissed about it. There, everybody has it. I was so disappointed…”
Selena revealed how she managed cruel comments regarding her weight. The fat-shaming resulted from photos of Gomez sporting a bikini.
“It hurt my feelings because I never experienced that before,” admitted Selena. ” I didn’t want [that] to be the story, so I said, ‘I don’t care what you think!’ ”
However, Gomez also confessed that there are days where she struggles to have positive body image.
“Some days, I like what I see. Other days I’m like, ‘I’m not even going to bother,’ ” admitted Selena.
Gomez recently revealed that she’s also struggling with lupus, reported Entertainment Tonight.
As part of her treatment, Selena had chemotherapy after being diagnosed three years ago. The autoimmune disease is not curable, but Gomez has learned how to manage it.
“It’s kind of one of those situations. You just have to take care of yourself,” clarified Selena.
Among the songs that have earned acclaim from her new Revival album is “Same Old Love.” Is it a message to Justin?
“He would always tell her she’s the most beautiful girl in the world, and that it wouldn’t matter if she gained weight, lost her hair, or anything,” an insider revealed. “He would make up little songs for her… and if they were both in L.A., he’d come over and order in her favorite foods from all the most expensive restaurants in Beverly Hills.”
Although their relationship has been rocky, he “stepped up”for Selena, said the insider, according to IBT.
“He knew she was struggling, and he wanted to let her know he was there for her.”
One of Gomez’s concerns about chemotherapy was hair loss. But Justin also helped her stay calm and comforted her during that ordeal, providing her with the support that she needed.
Selena shared that she initially hid her lupus and felt angry about the rumors about why she was taking a break from her musical career.
“I was diagnosed with lupus, and I’ve been through chemotherapy. That’s what my break was really about. I could’ve had a stroke. I wanted so badly to say, ‘You guys have no idea. I’m in chemotherapy. You’re a**holes.’ I locked myself away until I was confident and comfortable again,” explained Gomez.
