Taylor Swift’s Birthday Plans: Singer To Fly Squad, Calvin Harris To Australia

It’s almost Taylor Swift’s birthday, which means it’s time to figure out what the singer plans to do. New reports are claiming that the pop star is planning an epic birthday party in Australia.

Taylor Swift, 25, may fly in her girl squad as well as her boyfriend DJ Calvin Harris. According to a report via Teen Vogue, the singer wants to center her birthday around her friendships and her long-term relationship. Rumors are circulating that Swift will be flying all of her friends from her girl squad to Queensland Hamilton Island for her 26th birthday party. She reportedly chose that place because it’s generally free from paparazzi, but now that word got out, that won’t be the case anymore.

The “Bad Blood” singer arrived in Australia on Friday, November 27 for the remaining dates on her “1989 World Tour”. Taylor reportedly plans to fly in Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Lorde, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, and other of her famous friends. Her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, is also expected to join the celebration.

This party could very top Swift’s birthday party from last year. She had A-list names such as Beyonce and Jay Z, along with Justin Timberlake. According to another report from the Daily Telegraph, Swift is also planning to invite Oprah Winfrey, Kylie Minogue, and Hugh Jackman to her birthday party. Her male best friend Ed Sheeran is also expected to join.

This isn’t the first time Taylor has celebrated her birthday in Australia. Two years ago, she celebrated her 24th birthday in Melbourne with an intimate garden party including Lorde and some of her other famous gal pals.

Though Taylor Swift received some praise for having such a large squad, some of her own fans have questioned the authenticity of her friendships. In her recent interview with Vogue’s own Australia issue, she said that most of her famous friendships stemmed from mutual respect and admiration.

“A lot of the time, I’ll reach out to people to tell them they’re great, and a friendship will come out of that. Our friends really have each other’s back. It’s the first time in my life that I’ve had anything strong like that in the friendship department.”

Taylor Swift briefly returned to Queenstown, New Zealand, to finish filming her next music video, which is rumored to be for “Out of the Woods.” The singer caused a wild goose chase when she was spotted on a flight from Los Angeles to Kiwiland early last week. The Daily Mail then spotted Swift wearing something that’s unconventional for the pop princess, who has a penchant for crop tops and skater skirts. Swift looked totally relaxed as she wore an oversized sweater, baggy sweat pants, and UGG boots as she enjoyed some much-needed downtime with her little brother, Austin.

The singer captioned the low-key photo “Swift family road trip” and tagged the location South Island, New Zealand. Taylor then took to Instagram to share a clip of herself walking along the coast with her brother and father.

In the 30-second video, she can be heard saying, “I did it….I did it again.”

But Swift’s family trip will have to cut it short since she has seven shows left on her “1989 World Tour,” starting with her only show in Sydney on Saturday. Her third Melbourne show will also be her final show, on December 12. Back in November, Swift told NME magazine that she plans to take a long break after her world tour ends.

“I think I should take some time off. I think people need a break from me,” the singer said in the magazine.

With just seven shows left, fans are wondering if Swift will bring any surprise guests or her famous friends with her on stage. Fans were already upset by the lack of guests at Swift’s Sydney show, which was called a “one-woman show.” Her next show will take place in Brisbane on December 5, before she flies to Adelaide and Melbourne, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
