‘Arrow’/’The Flash’ Crossover Spoilers — ‘Legends Of Today’ And ‘Legends Of Yesterday’ To Introduce New DC Characters

A new trailer for the upcoming Arrow and The Flash crossover episodes has officially been released by The CW. Along with an exciting first look at Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), the video also provides as closer glance at the main villain that is set to be introduced in coming installments.

The video, which can be viewed on IGN, features a great look at Casper Crump as the new big bad, Vandal Savage. Not only is Savage shown throwing some nasty looking knives, but his appearance also proves just how much of a terror he is going to be for team of superheroes.

In addition to Savage, the video also highlights all of the different characters that are set to merge as the two shows collide in this highly anticipate event. Along with the usual characters in Arrow and The Flash, the new episodes will also feature Speedy (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey), and Black Canary (Katie Cassidy).

With so many characters and new villains set to interrupt the normal flow of both shows, what can fans expect to see unfold in the coming crossovers? According to the official synopses for the episodes, which can be read in their entirety on Cosmic Book News, fans can expect the storyline to revolve around Savage and his plans to capture Kendra “Hawkgirl” Saunders.

While members of Team Flash try their best in taking down Savage in The Flash episode, titled “Legends of Today,” they quickly find out just how dangerous their new foe really is. In a desperate need for reinforcements, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) calls on Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Team Arrow for some much needed assistance.

Meanwhile, in the follow-up crossover episode, titled “Legends of Yesterday,” Oliver and Barry work hard to find a secure location to keep Hawkgirl and Hawkman safe from the hands of Savage. At the same time, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Diggle, Laurel (Katie Cassidy), and Thea (Willa Holland) are busy working to devise a plan to take out Savage once and for all.

Although the storylines that are set to unfold in the crossover episodes are certainly exciting, perhaps the best part is that the coming installments will help introduce the characters of The CW’s newest superhero series, Legends of Tomorrow.

According to Cinema Blend, the characters that are set to be featured in Legends of Tomorrow include Savage as the main villain, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, and possibly a few others from Arrow or The Flash. With that in mind, the new promo video offers a great first look at Hawkgirl in action, including a glimpse at her huge wingspan as she falls from a building.

At the same time, Hawkman is shown locked up with a scowling Barry looking on. Based on the synopsis, their beef is probably based on Team Flash’s efforts to keep Hawkgirl safe. Although Barry does not look pleased with the Carter, they will get over their hard feelings at some point in order to stop Savage.

Apart from the characters that have already been mentioned, Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), and Jay Garrison (Teddy Sears) will be making an appearance in the crossover episodes. As far as Iris West is concerned, however, she is sadly not expected to be featured in any of the crossover episodes.
