Monday Night Raw Results: November 30

Monday Night Raw results are in, and the new Authority stable has added a new member and a new name, according to WWE.

New Day Throw Party For Sheamus

In the opening segment, WWE wanted to capitalize on the popularity of New Day while promoting Sheamus, their new world heavyweight champion. The creative department decided to combine the two acts into one. The trio threw a celebration party for the Celtics Warrior. They even used confetti to the mock the celebration that Roman Reigns had at the Survivor Series. Some silly dancing took place, which Sheamus participated in. Reigns predictably attacked the champion.

Dolph Ziggler vs Tyler Breeze

The good news about this match is that WWE gave Breeze and Ziggler close to 10 minutes to work their magic. Entertaining segment. The bad news is that the creative department gave the victory to Ziggler. Tyler had defeated Dolph when the two had their big match at Survivor Series. The reason why trading victories is bad is because it causes people to lose interest in Breeze due to the perceived notion that his momentum has been halted. This feud should have ended at the pay per view.

Results: Ziggler via pin fall.

Lana Returns to Monday Night Raw

To give Miz something to do, WWE had him do his interview segment. Fortunately for the former world heavyweight champion, he was given a guest that drew interest from the viewers. Lana made her return to Monday Night Raw after spending a few weeks away to heal up from a wrist injury. There were rumors floating around that she was not going to be brought back because of all the backstage heat towards her, but management reunited her with Rusev after all.

Rusev vs Ryback

A very short match between the two, as much of it, was done during the commercial break. Some might view that as a favor from WWE because these two guys really do not have a lot of chemistry in the ring together. Their styles also do not mesh too well together since they are both power wrestlers. Ryback looks awkward at times when he is trying to showcase an expanded move set. Lana does an injury angle so Rusev tended to her and sacrificed the match.

Results: Ryback via count out

Team ECW (Tommy Dreamer and the Dudley Boyz) vs Wyatt Family (Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman)

After a terrific back and forth between Bray Wyatt and the Dudley Boyz, the three Wyatt Family henchmen surrounded the ring. Bubba Ray told them that he has a family member in the arena to back them up against their family. Tommy Dreamer, with a new theme song, made his way through the audience with a garbage can filled with weapons. A match was set up between the two sides. Lots of brawling. To protect all involved, the brawl caused the referee to stop the match.

Results: No contest

Alberto Del Rio vs Goldust

Pretty random match. There was a slight chance of Goldust winning since the United States Heavyweight Championship was not on the line. Not really quite sure why WWE added that stipulation if Goldust was going to lose cleanly. Alberto Del Rio could have added another successful title defense. Match was solid as both veterans knew what they were doing in there. Del Rio’s finishing move causes people to wince on a weekly basis. This was obviously just a filler segment.

Results: Del Rio via pin fall

Lucha Dragons vs Usos

Even though WWE had been leaning towards a triple threat tag team title match at TLC, they went ahead and put on a predictable number one contenders match between the Lucha Dragons and the Usos. As expected, New Day interfered in the match, causing there to be no winners. Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston were under the impression that neither team was going to get a title shot. Stephanie McMahon had something else in mind. She revealed that both teams will get a title shot.

Results: No contest

Sasha Banks and Team BAD

Brie Bella vs Sasha Banks

WWE wants to build up Sasha Banks so they are giving her random victories on Monday Night Raw. Last week, she defeated Becky Lynch. This week, they needed another opponent. It was either going to be Brie Bella or Alicia Fox because the pickings are a bit slim since the divas are bundled up into stables. Match was decent. Sasha is capable of a lot more. The build up here is that Nikki Bella will make her return soon and put over Sasha before she challenges Charlotte.

Results: Sasha via submission

Roman Reigns vs Sheamus

The story here is that Reigns will get the WWE Heavyweight Championship if he can beat Sheamus within five minutes. The stipulation, of course, means that some sort of screw job ending was going to happen. When fans have that thought planted in their head, then they are basically just sitting through the first four and a half minutes knowing that nothing of significance is going to happen. Rusev attacked Reigns, giving him the victory via disqualification, before joining up with Sheamus, Bad News Barrett and new member Del Rio.

Results: Reigns via disqualification

Ric Flair and Charlotte

Becky Lynch vs Charlotte

In one of the more confusing segments on Monday Night Raw, Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch by tricking her with a roll up. Ric Flair was also involved and helped his daughter retain the WWE Divas Championship. Now, fans are confused as to whether or not they are supposed to root for Charlotte, especially when she goes up against a heel Paige at TLC. This segment was rather disappointing because expectations were raised when reports of Flair showing up first hit the internet.

Results: Charlotte

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and the Usos vs League of Nation (Sheamus, Del Rio, Barrett and Rusev) and New Day (Woods, Kingston and Langston)

The main event of Monday Night Raw was already interesting when it was simply four against four. There was really no need to add New Day to stack the odds even further against the baby faces. WWE then took it another unnecessary step forward by doing injury angles with the Usos. That pretty much left Reigns and Ambrose in the same situation as when Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage inexplicably battled the Dungeon of Doom in WCW. Sheamus picks up the victory over Ambrose amidst the chaos.

Results: League of Nation and New Day via pin fall

What do you think about the new League of Nation stables and will they be able to make Monday Night Raw interesting again?
