Charlie Hunnam Weighs Up His Chances In The Ring Against Conor McGregor

Charlie Hunnam looks a lot like UFC fighter Conor McGregor, plus, he is a huge fan. According to TMZ, Hunnam watched a lot of McGregor fight videos as motivation for getting in shape for his movie Knights of the Round Table. During his training, he even had thoughts of whether he could fight McGregor.

“In my mind I thought, ‘Maybe I could fight Conor McGregor?!’ “

In just a couple of weeks, Conor McGregor will fight Jose Aldo at UFC 194. It will be a unification bout for the UFC featherweight belt, and Charlie Hunnam definitely has tickets to see the fight. According to Sportal, Hunnam also told TMZ he wouldn’t last more than seven and a half seconds in the ring with McGregor.

“I’d give myself maybe seven-and-a-half seconds before I get knocked out, but it would be a great seven-and-a-half seconds.”

This video might just show the meager chances Charlie Hunnam would have in the ring with McGregor.

Perhaps Charlie Hunnam’s Sons of Anarchy character Jax Teller would have a better chance in a fight with McGregor.

Meanwhile, Charlie Hunnam and co-star Robert Pattinson have finished production of their upcoming movie, The Lost City of Z. Hopefully, the future wife of Charlie Hunnam likes it! Yes, there have been rumors that Hunnam is going to marry his girlfriend, Morgana McNelis. The couple has been together for nine years, and have kept their relationship pretty low profile. According to Reality Today, talk of an engagement started back in August when Hunnam spoke about the ring McNelis, who is a jewelry designer, made for him. The star revealed the ring was a wonderful surprise.

“She told me she was making me a diamond-encrusted ring – she’s a jewelry designer, not an actor – and I was like, ‘Uh oh. This is not going to go well for me.’ But I love it. It’s so discreet and beautiful.”

The couple even bought a ranch together and moved out of Hollywood to live sustainably and out of the limelight. The Inquisitr reported earlier that, in an interview with Hollywood Life, Charlie Hunnam revealed the couple is firmly based in reality when it comes to their relationship.

“She is required to share certain parts of me with the world that she wouldn’t necessarily choose to do, but we have a great relationship and she loves me and wants to be with me and we’ve been together a long time now, and I think she understands and has come to terms with the fact that there are certain elements of me that she is going to have to share.”

McNelis was interviewed back in October by Taylor Magazine, and she revealed the secret to her long and happy relationship with Charlie Hunnam.

“I think the key to maintaining a good balance is creating a safe space within the relationship for both partners in which to grow and evolve. It’s very important to be present and participate in each other’s experiences so that falling in love doesn’t happen just once, it continues to happen over and over.”

Well, their secret seems to be working, because hunk Charlie Hunnam and his girlfriend seem to be as happy as ever. It is true, though, that McNelis has to share her man with the rest of the world. It’s the price of being with a Hollywood hunk!
