Kristen Stewart Tops Forbes List Of Highest Paid Actresses

The Twilight series has made Kristen Stewart one of the best known actresses on the planet and also one of the richest. Forbes magazine recently ranked the top paid actresses of the last year and Stewart thanks to her Twilight and Snow white and the Huntsman starring roles ranked number one.

The 22-year-old actress earned $12.5 million per film for the last two Twilight movies and when combined with Snow White her May 2011 to May 2012 earnings were estimated at $34.5 million.

Kristen Stewart wasn’t only a top earner, she was the youngest actress to make the Forbes list.

Next on the list was Cameron Diaz who’s movie Bad Teacher earned $216 million at the box office. Diaz had agreed to a backend deal on the movies profits which earned her a reported $34 million.

In third place was Sandra Bullock who also agreed to a back-end deal on the 2009 hit The Blind Side for which she is reportedly still earning plenty of cash. In the time period studied Bullock earned $25 million.

Following Bullock was Angelina Jolie who earned $20 million, mostly from movie residuals and endorsement deals.

Rounding off the top five was Charlize Theron who didn’t earn her money as much from back-end deals as good old-fashioned hard work. Theron could be seen in Young Adult, Snow White and the Huntsman, and Prometheus. Theron earned $18 million.
