Josh Duggar Sex Addiction: Did Jim Bob Ignore The Warning Signs? Josh Now Faces Huge Lawsuit From Adult Film Star [Video]

Did the Duggars ignore warning signs that Josh was addicted to sex and pornography? According to Entertainment Tonight, Jim Bob was alerted when Josh was a teen that his son actively looked at pornography online, but ignored the warnings.

A source close to the Duggar family confessed to Entertainment Tonight that when Josh was a teenager, his family discovered he was looking at pornography online after a “Duggar family member once bought a computer from Josh.” The buyer reported to Jim Bob that they “found explicit porn saved on the computer” Josh once used.

According to International Business Times, after the buyer warned Jim Bob about their discovery, the Duggar family patriarch reportedly responded with disbelief. “Not my son,” Jim Bob retorted, claiming the photos “must have been on the computer before [Josh] got it.”

Although Entertainment Tonight reached out to a representative for Josh Duggar, the website received no response.

Josh Duggar admitted that he has a sex addition last summer after reports surfaced the reality star admitted he molested teenage girls when he was also under age. According to Entertainment Tonight, after admitting he looked at pornography, Josh retracted the statement.

At the time, Michelle and Jim Bob released a statement, confessing that “12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives.” In the statement, the Duggar family leaders admitted that when “Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes,” explaining that they “were shocked,” reports International Business Times.

Although according to his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, “had tried to teach [Josh] right from wrong,” and the “dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before,” rumors are now surfacing that his parents ignored important warning signs that Josh was addicted to sex.

Only after a second scandal linking Josh to infidelity website Ashley Madison did the Duggar family begin to get Josh help. In August, it was discovered that Josh had two accounts with the Ashley Madison website that helped him cheat on his wife, Anna Duggar.

At the time, Michelle and Jim Bob said their “hearts were broken,” according to International Business Times, and they insisted Josh attend a conservative Christian-based rehab center to help him overcome his sex addiction. The Duggar clan asked fans to pray for Josh as they placed their “trust in God.”

But Josh Duggar is not out of the woods yet, and is being sued by Danica Dillon, an adult film star. Dillon claims that she was offered money to have violent sex with Josh twice in March and April of last year, reports Entertainment Tonight. According to Danica, Josh and the film star met in Philadelphia, where Josh offered her $1,500 to spend the night with him — but things quickly turned aggressive.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Danica describes that Josh “threw me on the bed and… it more or less felt like I was being raped.” The adult film star is quick to point out that she “I never said no — I am going to have to reiterate that — I never told him no,” but she did push Josh back and tell him it was “too rough.” Danica also claims she did not know who Josh was, or that he was married with children.

The film star she found out who Josh Duggar was after a fan emailed her, alerting her that her name was linked with Josh online. “I was being called a homewrecker, a whore, a horrible person” for sleeping with Josh, Dillon stressed.

It seems his sex addiction will cost Josh Duggar quite a bit. Dillon is now suing Josh for $500,000 in damages, reports the International Business Times. Court documents claim that Duggar committed battery against the adult film star, and she “felt as if she were being raped,” reports Entertainment Tonight.

Entertainment Tonight reports that as things have heated up over Josh and his sex addiction, the Duggar family has been shutting each other out. According to a source close to the family, “[n]obody communicates and it’s weird and tough.” Because of media speculation surrounding Josh and the cancellation of 19 Kids And Counting, the Duggar clan does not “really trust a lot of people right now, so they want to keep things on a ‘need-to-know’ basis.”

When pressed about his sex addiction last May, International Business Times reports that Josh left out that he was addicted to pornography, but admitted that he “would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions.”

Although he has been quiet since checking into rehab, in his Facebook statement, Josh Duggar admitted he “sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life.” The Duggars have not responded to claims that pornography was found on Josh’s computer as a teenager, or the impending lawsuit.
