Miranda Lambert Won’t Take Blame For Blake Shelton Divorce

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton parted ways in July, and in the months that have followed, Miranda Lambert has been blamed for the divorce. According to recent reports, it was Miranda Lambert’s refusal to start a family with her husband of four years which ultimately led to the end of their marriage.

In the upcoming November 30 issue of Us Weekly, via Hollywood Life, a source claimed Miranda Lambert and her former husband made plans to start a family by a certain date, but when that date arrived, Miranda Lambert allegedly went back on the agreement, and refused to get pregnant. While the magazine cited Miranda Lambert’s failure to get pregnant as one of the main reasons behind her divorce, a second source recently told Hollywood Life there was much more to the story.

“It wasn’t like that was their only problem either. There was a lot more to it than just that. Blake played a part in their divorce just as much as [Miranda Lambert]… She doesn’t want to get into a mud-slinging contest so she’s not talking, but she has told friends, ‘Blake knows what he did wrong.’ “

In addition to their alleged family planning dispute, there have been allegations against Miranda Lambert, claiming she cheated on her former partner with multiple men. The Star report, however, was quickly shot down by another Hollywood Life report.

“[Miranda Lambert]’s just never been the cheating type, she was always so head over heels for Blake, she lived for that guy. To says cheated with five other men and no one knew about it, well it just doesn’t ring true for anyone. [Miranda Lambert] denies ever being unfaithful to Blake, she feels like it’s just a smear campaign to make Blake look better for up and leaving her.”

Months after Miranda Lambert’s divorce, her former partner moved on from their relationship with a new romance with his co-star on The Voice, Gwen Stefani, and oddly, Stefani’s own divorce from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, was announced just weeks after that of Miranda Lambert.

While there has certainly been a lot of questions raised due to the closeness of the divorces, there is no evidence of cheating on either side, and any claims of such are nothing more than speculation. There was, however, a report in Us Weekly earlier this month, which alleged Rossdale had cheated on Stefani with their nanny, Mindy Mann. While Stefani and her former husband have stayed mum on the report, a source claimed the No Doubt singer discovered news of her then-husband’s alleged infidelity on their family’s iPad, which included messages about their plans to meet for sex.

As Miranda Lambert’s husband continues to enjoy his new romance with his co-star, she’s reportedly staying focused on herself and her music. Although Miranda Lambert doesn’t appear to be doing shows at the moment, she is scheduled to go on tour early next year with fellow singer Sam Hunt.

In fact, Miranda Lambert has already been tied romantically to Hunt, although it doesn’t appear there is anything between them. In October, Celebrity Dirty Laundry claimed an OK! Magazine source alleged the two singers may have been secretly dating. According to the source, Miranda Lambert couldn’t help but flirt with her future tour mate.

“They are getting very close, he makes her feel sexy, and that is exactly what [Miranda Lambert] needs right now,” the source explained.
