Meghan Edmonds Colors Her Hair To Avoid Being Recognized By ‘RHOC’ Fans?

Meghan Edmonds knows how to spice things up when it comes to reality television. Even though this was Meghan’s first season on The Real Housewives of Orange County, she made quite the impression on viewers. Edmonds wasn’t scared of questioning people’s stories, especially when they didn’t make sense. And Meghan was very pushy when it came to Brooks Ayers’ cancer story.

Meghan Edmonds’ persistence has gained her two groups of followers: her ever-loving supporters, who appreciate her going the distance to call out Brooks and Vicki Gunvalson, and her haters, who believe she simply went too far. Some people believe that Meghan went too far and had no right calling Ayers’ doctors and hospitals to see if his stories checked out. And maybe these haters have something to do with why Edmonds is now a brunette.

According to a new Radar Online report, Meghan Edmonds has colored her hair dark because she doesn’t want to be recognized by fans. While this could be true in her hometown and in her neighborhood, it does seem odd that Meghan would hide from her fans. Edmonds has revealed that she would love to come back on the show next season, and she seems to really thrive in the reality television world. But a source claims that Vicki may be the reason behind this new look.

“She colored it because she didn’t want to be recognized,” a source has revealed, sharing that Meghan Edmonds is only coloring her hair to avoid being recognized by Vicki Gunvalson supporters, adding, “Everyone hated her at the beginning of the season when she went up against Vicki, and she started noticing the stares.”

Throughout the season, Meghan Edmonds sported blonde hair. When Leann died, Meghan colored her hair pink to support women who were fighting breast cancer. During the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, Edmonds decided to color her hair brown. Even though she never explained why she chose a different color, sources say that she didn’t want to be recognized. However, she could have gone back to blonde because the tables are turning now that Ayers has admitted to lying.

“Now that the tables have turned, and a lot of people hate Vicki, she decided to go back to being blonde again,” the source reveals, adding, “She told Vicki to dye her hair, it’s a good disguise.”

Of course, Meghan Edmonds was very active in exposing Brooks’ lies. If she hadn’t been on the show, it is questionable how much information fans would know today. While she did go above and beyond to expose his lies, many are thankful that he will no longer be on the show. Brooks recently admitted to fabricating his medical bills to prove that he had chemotherapy sessions.

“Now it’s time to focus our energy on helping the survivors and victims of cancer,” Edmonds revealed after learning about Brooks Ayers’ lies according to Us Weekly, adding, “There is so much work to be done to help those suffering. It wasn’t easy exposing a lie about something that is so important to so many of us. It is time for all of us to move on and get to work in a positive way to help in the fight.”

Brooks admitted to falsifying his medical bills. He claims that he simply wanted to prove to the world that he had cancer. Sadly, his way of doing so may just have put more doubt in people’s minds in regards to his illness.
