‘Fallout 4’ Secret Room Revealed: How To Get Every Item In The Game

Fallout 4 was only released a few days ago, and already a method has been revealed that will allow players to access every item, including all available armor and weaponry. According to GameSpot, the secret room is only accessible in the PC version of Fallout 4, but payoffs are huge for those players who choose to make use of this secret room.

Rumor has it that the Fallout 4 secret room is a developer testing room, which can be accessed on the PC version by entering the text “COC QASMOKE” into the games console commands. How this was initially discovered is anyone’s guess, but there are certainly many Fallout 4 fans who will be excited to make use of this secret feature.

Fallout 4 has an extreme following of very dedicated fans who have been waiting months for the new Fallout 4 release. Released on November 10, fans were able to enjoy the launch trailer and some of the official reviews in the big leadup to the game’s release.

Fans had been waiting for these reviews because, as Forbes reported, initially Bethesda PR had placed an embargo on reviews, limiting reviewers to only reporting the date and time of the review embargo, which was more of an embargo on the Fallout 4 review embargo.

Time reported the game has a great storyline once it gets going, and that the open world is “stirring” and gameplay is “solid,” but they also report that the ideas are recycled, rather than fresh, and the crafting interface is “fiddly.” Overall, Time reviewers felt the game is more for the nostalgic at heart.

The review from PCWorld is along the same lines. The virtues of Fallout 3 are discussed at length (clearly the reviewer liked that release), but the enthusiasm is lacking for Fallout 4, which is referred to as diluted.

Fallout 4 is so diluted, though. This is a much bigger game than Fallout 3, but I wouldn’t necessarily say that makes it better.”

PCWorld also says Fallout 4 is definitely fun, despite the downfalls, and its setting rocks the game world.

“I enjoyed the hell out of my time with Fallout 4, despite my complaints. I expect a lot of people will. The setting is Fallout‘s strongest asset, and if Boston is less iconic than Washington D.C. or Las Vegas it at least makes up for that fact by being an extremely important locale in Fallout lore.”

Reviews aside, fans that were waiting for the release of the game were at the edge of their seats for the big day. Some fans wanted it so badly, they pre-ordered the game so they don’t have to wait a moment longer than absolutely necessary. Despite this, some fans had had a wee problem with their Fallout 4 pre-order being canceled. Twitter lit up with tweets about the cancellations.

According to Game Spot, GAME reported that there were issues with customer bank or PayPal accounts that has affected a “small number of customers.”

“While processing these orders, a small number of customers have experienced problems that have been caused by their bank or PayPal accounts not allowing payment to go through. For security and privacy, they do not share with us why payment has failed.”

The affected customers had their pre-orders of the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy edition cancelled, but GAME said it was committed to replacing those cancelled pre-orders.

“We would like to reassure all customers that have pre-ordered that their order is still reserved and being held for them. Stock will be secured in our distribution centre until we are able to ensure payment and delivery. This stock will not be released for general sale. We will contact all customers via email within the next 48 hours with an order status.”

Ultimately, anyone who was waiting for their pre-ordered copy of Fallout 4 eventually had it in their virtual hands, and were able to get lost in the post-apocalyptic world they have grown to love. And now with the news of the secret room and access to all of the game’s items, Fallout 4 fans have been somewhat compensated for the trouble caused by the cancelled orders.
