Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom Biopic In The Works? Not So Fast, One Outlet Reports

The Khloe Kardashian-Lamar Odom relationship story is dramatic — there’s no denying that. But would it make for good biopic material?

If you believe OK! magazine, Khloe certainly thinks so. The magazine reported that Khloe Kardashian is planning a biopic that would tell the story of Khloe and Lamar’s relationship.

The magazine even revealed that Khloe has already pegged actors to play herself and her husband: Kardashian wants Will Smith to play Lamar, and she wants Jennifer Lawrence to play herself! According to the OK! report, Khloe’s momager Kris Jenner is already on board and involved in the proceedings.

“Khloe thinks a movie could be a hit. The only issue is how the family would be portrayed, and that’s why Kris is heavily involved.”

OK! added that Jenner and Kardashian haven’t quite worked out all the details yet, as the two Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars disagree about how the movie should end. According to Kris, the biopic should have a tragic ending, while Khloe wants the movie to end in a positive way.

OK! magazine seems to have quite a few details about the Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom biopic, but one media outlet is discrediting that OK! article, calling the reports “laughable.”

Gossip Cop reports that their writers investigated the claim by OK! and found the biopic story to be entirely false.

“Khloe Kadashian is NOT planning to make a movie biopic about Lamar Odom, starring Will Smith and Jennifer Lawrence in the lead roles, despite a ludicrous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s laughable and ‘completely fabricated.'”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have had a tumultuous relationship, especially in recent months. The reality TV star and former NBA player were married in 2009 after a whirlwind courtship of less than a month, and the couple filed for divorce in 2013. It took nearly two years for the couple to sign their divorce papers, and Khloe and Lamar were awaiting a judges signature when Lamar collapsed at a Las Vegas-area brothel in October.

After Lamar’s collapse from an alleged drug overdose, his then-estranged wife rushed to his side in the Las Vegas Sunrise hospital, where she remained for days on end. Lamar was eventually transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles. During the ordeal, Kardashian and Lamar withdrew their divorce papers, opting to stay married for the meantime instead.

However, the decision to remain married was not based on romantic feelings, Khloe has said. In fact, in recent days, Kardashian has been seen out with her boyfriend, James Harden, whom Khloe had been dating before the entire Lamar situation went down.

Still, reports have indicated that Khloe Kardashian has continued to visit with her husband despite the fact that she’s once again picked up her romance with NBA player James Harden. Khloe has indicated that she still loves Lamar Odom and that she always will, but she’s simply not in a place to care for him romantically at this point. Instead, sources have suggested that Khloe and Lamar withdrew divorce papers so that Khloe could continue to make medical decisions for her husband.

Obviously, there’s plenty of material in the relationship for a biopic, but that doesn’t mean a movie will be made. According to Gossip Cop, a biopic isn’t even a consideration at this point.
