Kendall Jenner just made her mark at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and she’s quickly becoming one of the hottest models of her time. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s income has skyrocketed. Forbes just released its list of the “World’s Highest-Paid Models of 2015,” which is just making news yet again.
Kendall Jenner, 20, is ranked at No. 16 on the list of highest-paid models. She reportedly has an estimate of $4 million in pretax earnings. Most of Jenner’s earnings came from her endorsements with Calvin Klein and Estee Lauder, along with being the face of Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld, and Marc Jacobs. The business site said that Jenner also has a combination of 50 million followers on her Instagram and Twitter accounts, making her one of the most popular models of her generation.
According to a report via Hollywood Take, Kendall earns up to $5,000 per tweet, making an average of $80,000 on just Twitter alone. The social media model also earns $5,000 per episode on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its spin off shows like Khloe & Kourtney Take the Hamptons, increasing her net worth.
Kendall Jenner landed her first modeling contract at the age of 14 with Forever 21. She was then signed to Wilhelmina Models. Then she was led to the Marilyn Agency through a fashion photographer. Although Jenner landed many fashion campaigns since, she didn’t start walking the runway until Spring 2014 at Fashion Week.
The reason why Kendall probably skyrocketed to fame is because of her social media following. Not to mention the fact that she came from an already famous family. Ivan Bart, President of IMG Models, explains why models like Kendall have become popular thanks to their frequent Instagram posts. “We’re getting to a point where image visibility is more potent – it’s not just the money you earn.”
Even Chris Gay, general manager of The Society Management, who represents Jenner agrees. “Kendall’s generation is more influenced by digital media than television, magazines or any other forms of advertising.”
All eyes were on Kendall Jenner and her BFF Gigi Hadid as they took over the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday, Nov. 10. The beauties wore revealing lingerie and even more revealing dresses at the after-party. But let’s talk about the runway show. Veteran Angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Behati Prinsloo were the first to walk down the runway, with Jenner and Hadid not too far behind. The brunette beauty wore a baby blue embellished bra and matching panties set with an embellished sheer blouse. Meanwhile, Hadid stripped out of her firefighter uniform to reveal some red hot PINK underwear.
After the taping of the fashion show ended, the models continued to flaunt their bodies on the red carpet. Both Kendall and Gigi wore super sexy dresses with dangerously low necklines, seriously high slits, and plenty of cutouts. Kendall opted for a black metallic Versace gown, which she paired with a half up, half down hairstyle. Meanwhile, Gigi slipped into her black House of CB bodysuit and Sally LaPointe top worn as a skirt.

The famous Jenner teen might have told E! News that she felt “nervous” before hitting the runway, but it was hard to tell since she appeared confident and cool all night long. In her previous interview with V Magazine, Jenner told the magazine that her success came from proving to the fashion industry that she’s not just a reality star and that she can in fact model. She even dropped her last name so she could be taken more seriously.
“I don’t think some people take me very seriously. When I started off, I was way more of a personality in modeling and it wasn’t like, what I wanted to be exactly. I want to be more high fashion; I want to be more editorial, but hopefully I’ll just prove myself.”
