Rob Kardashian’s Chances At Finding Motivation Are ‘Slim To None,’ Claims Sister Khloe, Despite Alleged Return To ‘KUWTK’

Rob Kardashian has been out of the spotlight for the last couple of years and hasn’t appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians since 2012.

As he continues to fight back against weight gain and depression, Rob Kardashian’s sister, Khloe, who he lives with, discussed his private issues in her new book, and she didn’t exactly hold back. While Khloe is hopeful that her younger sibling will soon find the motivation he needs to return to his life in a healthier way, she doesn’t seem to be too convinced he will actually do it.

Rob Kardashian is in a “deep, dark place,” Khloe wrote in her memoir, Strong Looks Better Naked, according to a report by Cosmopolitan Magazine on November 3. He “[can’t] find his way out.”

According to Khloe, Rob Kardashian has occasional bursts of motivation and energy to get back his body and return to the spotlight, but they are typically short-lived, and Khloe has grown frustrated. After admitting to enabling Rob Kardashian’s lazy behavior at times, Khloe said she was starting to lose hope that he would ever be an active member of society again.

“If [Rob Kardashian] starts making progress, I’ll be his biggest cheerleader,” she said, “[and] he will make changes in his life when he is able to motivate himself. And as much as I wish I could light that fire for him, I now see that the chances of that happening are slim to none.”

In other Rob Kardashian news, Khloe recently reportedly begged him to attend the birthday celebration of their mother, Kris Jenner, who turned 60 on November 5. And while it is unclear whether or not he did so, Rob Kardashian did wish Jenner a happy birthday on his Instagram page.

On November 5, Rob Kardashian took to Instagram, where he posted a photo of himself and his mother and shared a special birthday message for her with fans.

“MAMA I LOVE YOU!! P. O. P. Holding it down…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL MAMA.”

On November 5, Holywood Life reported on news of Rob Kardashian’s possible attendance at Jenner’s birthday celebration.

“All the girls wants Kris’ party to be a family affair. They absolutely, 100-percent want and need [Rob Kardashian]’s presence. Each of them have called him and told him how much they love him, and how special and equally important it is for him to commit to attend Kris’ shindig.”

While Us Weekly reported that Rob Kardashian had lost 15 pounds and was planning to return to Keeping Up with the Kardashians for Season 11, it is unclear if he actually will, and the recently released trailer showed no signs of the former reality star and sock designer.

“[Rob Kardashian] and Khloe talked the longest. They had an intense and heart-warming conversation about many things, including their childhood and some of the funniest moments they had with their mom growing up. That was a true brother/sister moment,” Hollywood Life’s source explained.

According to Us Weekly magazine, Rob Kardashian began following a strict diet and exercise plan in September and had lost a substantial amount of weight after doing so. While it wasn’t confirmed by the E! Network at the time, it was also reported that Rob Kardashian had filmed scenes for Season 11. He had reportedly been motivated to get his body back to its previous size by several members of his family, including Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and Kim’s husband, Kanye West.
