Jessa Seewald Confirmed To Have Welcomed A Son Into The World, Baby Boy Born Day After Mom’s Birthday

Fans have been waiting anxiously for news that Jessa Seewald has had her baby and now the wait it finally over. It has now been confirmed that she has indeed had her first child and it is a boy! The Duggar daughter and her husband, Ben, have welcomed their first child into the world.

People has just confirmed that the news is true, after much speculation, that she had given birth. Jessa had her son on Thursday evening and is supposedly doing well after the delivery. There are no other details just yet, but the new mom was expected to have a home birth unless there were complications that would lead her to a hospital visit.

Rumors of the baby’s birth had been quickly circulating after Ben’s sister had posted an Instagram photo that said she was an auntie. As Us Weekly reported, she gave the gender away by writing it in blue. Even though she didn’t come right out and say it, Duggar fans were quick to spread the baby news around.

The new parents, or any of the Duggar family, has yet to comment on baby Seewald’s delivery or how everything went. But you can be sure that Jessa or Ben will take to social media as soon as possible to show photos and announce their son’s name.

The Seewalds had a little fun with this first pregnancy, asking everyone to take a poll on their official website on whether they were having a boy or a girl, and also suggestions on names for this bundle of joy. It will be interesting to find out if they chose from that long list of names that fans gave them

Ben and Jessa Seewald just finished celebrating their one year anniversary on November 1 and just yesterday, Jessa also celebrated her 23rd birthday as well. She posted a photo of a few members of the Duggar family who helped her celebrate her special day. Many thought that she would this baby on her birthday, but it looks like baby Seewald wanted to wait a day later so he wouldn’t have to share his birthday with his mama.

The progress of Jessa’s pregnancy for the last nine months, and this baby’s birth, will supposedly be shown this winter on the new Duggar reality show on TLC called Jill and Jessa: Counting On. Just as fans got to see what happened with Jill’s delivery of Israel, Jessa will also have the chance to share this moment with her fans.

This little boy will have many playmates available. One of them is Anna and Josh Duggar’s baby girl, Meredith, who is just four months older than her cousin. There is also cousin Israel to play with when he comes for a visit to the U.S. Duggar family friend, Sierra, is also due to have her baby soon, so baby Seewald will certainly not lack for playtime.

This will most likely not be the only child that Jessa Seewald and her husband will have. Between having a few of their own, and also the fact that they both want to adopt later on down the road, there is sure to be a house full of little Seewald feet running around.

While fans wait to hear details, and for photos of their son, many baby congratulations are flowing in on social media and beyond. Jessa had wrote on her Twitter a few days ago about possibly having a big baby since she was pretty big when she was born.

“I weighed 9lbs 15oz & Ben was 8lbs 15oz at birth. Ha! I’d say it’s possible we could have a very chubby baby!”
