Rebel Wilson Slams Kylie, Kendall Jenner: ‘Their Careers Aren’t Based On Talent’
Watch out Kendall and Kylie Jenner — Rebel Wilson is telling the world what she really thinks about the Jenner sisters and all of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars!
In an interview with Australian radio station KIIS FM, Rebel Wilson said she had been asked to present an award at the MTV VMAs with the famous sisters. The Pitch Perfect star said she refused to do so, indicating that she would rather present the award without Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
“I was asked to present at the VMAS with Kendall and Kylie and said no. I said I’d do it myself. What they stand for is totally against what I stand for.”
Wilson went on to say that she believes the Kardashians are superficial and that the entire family is still riding on the popularity of Kim Kardashians’ sex tape. Kim Kardashians’ sex tape with her then-boyfriend Ray J was released in 2007.

During the interview with KISS FM, Wilson also explained what she believes to be the difference between the way she got famous and the way the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars got famous.
“They seem a bit superficial and their careers aren’t really based on talent. I know they’re super popular, but I’m all about personality and working hard to get to where I am. How Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard…”
According to Hollywood Life, Kylie Jenner was surprised by the comments Wilson made. Hollywood Life’s insider source said that Kylie was disappointed in Rebel’s comments, but Jenner isn’t mad.
“Kylie’s disappointed in Rebel’s remarks. They came out of no where and caught her completely off guard,” the insider told Hollywood Life. “Kylie has no beef with Rebel and even thinks she’s actually funny, until now! Yes, Kylie truly doesn’t appreciate Rebel saying she’s talentless, but mad, Kylie is not! See, Kylie’s heard that same old schtick about she and her family not being talented or that they rose to fame on the back of Kim’s sex tape. Talent is subjective.”
“Kylie feels she and every member of her family work harder than most in the business shooting their shows, writing books, clubbing, promoting their clothing lines, and that’s not the half of it. They put their lives out on the front lives everyday to dissected! Rebel’s only being talked about in the news because she dissed America’s first family and Kylie’s well aware of that. As the old saying goes, it’s lonely at the top but extra crowded at the bottom!”
The source for Hollywood Life called Rebel Wilson and everyone else who bashes Kendall and Kylie “jealous.”
“They feel like everyone is jealous and people are going to have to deal with their success because they aren’t going anywhere!”
