Did Jessa Duggar Seewald Have Her Baby Yet? Jessa Poses For Photos Two Days After Her Due Date

Jessa Seewald’s due day came and went as Duggar fans waited in anticipation for a birth announcement. However, it seems that fans may have to wait even longer as Jessa still hasn’t had her baby. Jessa posted a new photo of her 40 weeks and two days baby bump, and many are commenting that the baby still appears high, suggesting she may still have a few more days to go.

Jessa Seewald shared a new photo to her Instagram page that featured her ever-expanding baby bump. The photo showed Jessa enjoying some tacos with her friends Sierra and Kristen.

It seems that as Jessa gets further past her due date, she is becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the idea of having a “big” baby. Jessa recently posted an update showing a text message between her mother-in-law and herself discussing her husband Ben’s size as a newborn. Jessa notes that she was the biggest of all 19 of the Duggar children, weighing in at 9 pounds 15 ounces. Meanwhile, husband Ben weighed, according to his mother, 8 pounds and 15 ounces. Therefore, it seems that Jessa is rightfully concerned about a larger-than-normal newborn.

According to the popular pregnancy book What To Expect When You Are Expecting, the average baby weighs about 7.5 pounds at birth. Therefore, Jessa’s 9 pounds 15 ounces and Ben’s 8 pounds 15 ounces were well above the national average for birth weights. However, the book also notes that a baby is considered “normal” if they are born weighing between 5.5 and ten pounds as all but just 5 percent of newborns are within that weight range.

With Jessa’s latest photo taken from a taco shop, it may be that the expectant mother is hoping to encourage labor by eating some spicy foods. It wouldn’t be the first time that Jessa has tried to naturally induce labor. Jessa recently posted a photo of herself with a large, fresh pineapple, asking her followers if anyone has had success inducing labor through eating the fruit raw. Unfortunately, the pineapple didn’t seem to help Jessa as she is still heavily pregnant four days later.

While fans wait for Jessa Seewald to make her big birth announcements, others are looking to the Dillard family for new Duggar news. TLC recently announced that they would be featuring both Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard on an upcoming three-part special called Jill & Jess: Counting On. The report comes just months after the network allegedly cut ties with the family following the Josh Duggar Ashley Madison and molestation scandal. The oldest Duggar son admitted to being unfaithful to his wife Anna and to a pornography addiction. Josh is said to be in rehabilitation for his problems and is expected to return sometime in February. Therefore, it seems TLC is attempting to get their three-part series in the spotlight quickly before Josh returns and potentially causes trouble for the network. The network announced the first show will air before the end of the year.

With cameras now rolling again for the Seewald and Dillard families, it is likely that we will see the birth of Jessa Seewald’s firstborn in one of the upcoming specials.

Do you think Jessa Seewald’s birth will be as dramatic as sister Jill’s birth?
