Teresa Giudice Still Feuding With Caroline Manzo As ‘RHONJ’ Is Reportedly Put On Hold
Teresa Giudice and her former Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star, Caroline Manzo, are still at odds. Although Manzo left the Bravo reality series after its fifth season to pursue her own spinoff on the network titled Manzo’d With Children, she recently confirmed she and Teresa Giudice remained out of touch.

On Sunday night, November 1, Manzo and her daughter, Lauren, appeared on Andy Cohen’s late night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, when a caller phoned in, wanting to known whether or not Manzo was planning to contact Teresa Giudice once she was released from prison later this year. In response, Manzo shot down any chance at a possible reconciliation with Teresa Giudice, claiming The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 5 reunion was a leading factor in her decision to cut ties for good.
Below is what Manzo told Cohen, according to a report by the Daily Mail on November 2.
“[Teresa Giudice] does not want to hear from me I’m sure. We are different people and the last reunion proved to me that it is never going to work between us, so I have no ill feeling towards her I just don’t want to go back there and quite frankly I don’t think she cares to see me back there, so the answer would be a ‘no.'”
News of Teresa Giudice’s strained relationship with Manzo comes just days after Radar Online reported news of her spinoff series being a major flop for Bravo. Last week, the site revealed The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In did so poorly in ratings that it actually put the show’s seventh season in jeopardy.

According to Radar Online, Teresa Giudice’s spinoff, which featured her family’s at-home life without her, scored “lower than every single episode” of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6, aside from the second half of the reunion special. The series, which aired as a three-part documentary, received 1.231, 1.288 and 1.421 million viewers during their Sunday night episodes, and was “trounced in the the ratings” by underdog series Guy’s Grocery Games.
While the network has remained silent on the issue, Radar Online‘s source claimed Bravo producers were worried about the series’ disappointing debut, especially because it seemed to hint that Teresa Giudice’s fanbase may have diminished in the months since she’s been behind bars.
“This was the first time anyone heard from [Teresa Giudice] from behind bars and they expected fans to tune in to see how she was. But they realized that maybe she doesn’t have that many fans anymore. The contracts for the upcoming season aren’t out yet, and with the low ratings they aren’t moving too quickly. The ladies are worried about their future with the show and are wondering when they’re going to get contracts.”
“They are still trying to figure out [Teresa Giudice]’s situation,” insider Tom Murro told the site, claiming that after previous seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the women of the series were given contracts before the show had even wrapped.
At times, Murro explained, cast members received their contracts for the following season during the reunion special.
Teresa Giudice will be released from prison on December 23. A few months later, her husband, Joe, will begin his 41-month term. Both parties pled guilty to charges of bank and wire fraud in late 2014.
