‘Star Wars’ From Head To Toe: Makeup, Shoes, Hats, And Clothes

If you just can’t get wait for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, then maybe this unofficial Star Wars merchandise can appease you for now before the Episode VII of Star Wars hit the theaters.

Are you on the search for the most inspired Star Wars getup in time for the movie this December? Or are you looking for the perfect Christmas gift for your Star Wars-addict best friend (or maybe even for yourself)? Your search is over. These Star Wars fashion and beauty pieces will surely appease even the most avid Star Wars junkie.

Starting with beauty products, CoverGirl just released a huge Limited Edition Star Wars makeup line that will excite any Star Wars and makeup fan. The Star Wars Limited Edition Collection includes 10 unique mascaras, six metallic lip shades, and six nail glosses, all in tribute of Star Wars.

The 10-piecce Limited Edition Star Wars mascara line embodies CoverGirl’s tagline for their special marketing strategy, “Which side are you on?” It features five quotes from the “light side” and five quotes from the “dark side.” These mascaras are actually Cover Girl’s signature SuperSizer Mascara, wrapped in various quotes from the Star Wars original series and The Force Awakens trailer.

Here are the quotes that wrap the mascaras from the dark side:

  • “I will finish what you started” – coming in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  • “There has been an awakening” – coming in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  • “Immune to the light” – coming in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  • “Indeed you are powerful” – Darth Vader to Luke Skywalker
  • “You will meet your destiny” – Darth Vader to Luke Skywalker

Here are the quotes that wrap the mascaras from the light side:

  • “Luminous beings are we” – Yoda to Luke Skywalker
  • “I feel the good in you” – Luke Skywalker to Darth Vader
  • “You’re my only hope” – Princess Leia to Obi-Wan Kenobi
  • “Do. Or do not. There is not try.” – Yoda to Luke Skywalker
  • “May the force be with you” – An iconic phrase used among Jedi

If you’re looking for unique Star Wars apparel and you’re just tired of the usual shirts and tees bearing Star Wars insignia or character faces, we found online shop Her Universe, who is selling creative and inspired Star Wars clothes. Of course, the usual tees are still there, but some of the pieces that really stand our are the Lightsaber skirt, the Vader black and white tank top, and a Hoth pin-up dress. On top of these clothing articles being hugely Star Wars-inspired, they are unique and eye-catching but wearable enough for everyday use.

Going down to the shoes, another online retailer, Irregular Choice, has come out with outrageous but really beautiful pairs of shoes inspired from different facets of the Star Wars canon. Some of our favorite Star Wars pieces were The Death Star, which features high-heeled boots with a Stormtrooper head and a Darth Vader head as the heels; the R2-D2, which is a predominantly blue and white pair of pumps with R2-D2 as the heels; the Skywalker, a brown textured pair of boots with actual lighting Lightsabers as heels; and Yoda, gold pumps with Master Yoda as the heels.

And since we’re at it, do you remember the controversial Balenciaga hat that walked down the runway four years ago? Well, this is the perfect timing for a throwback. That Balenciaga hat was reminiscent of Star Wars’ Darth Vader himself — but would anyone really wear that outside?
