WWE News: Jesse Ventura Accuses Hulk Hogan Of Ratting Him Out To Vince McMahon

Jesse Ventura accuses Hulk Hogan of ratting him out to Vince McMahon and preventing a wrestling union from being formed.

Not everyone in WWE makes millions of dollars. They don’t all have a gigantic house like the one owned by John Cena and routinely featured on Total Divas. They don’t all ride from city to city in a million dollar tour bus like Randy Orton.

Lower paid performers in WWE make approximately $100,000 a year. That may seem like a lot of money to a regular person, but it really is not a ton of cash when you factor in the travel expenses and the hectic WWE schedule. That is why a lot of wrestlers still share rental cars and hotel rooms when they are traveling.

Some WWE stars are even claiming that they barely make enough to get by. The performers put up with it because they hope for a chance to move up in WWE and make more money, but conditions can be pretty rough in the company. A union would find ways to make things a bit easier for the wrestlers by tugging at the pockets of World Wrestling Entertainment.

That is never going to happen.

While there are a lot of companies across the globe, WWE rules the industry. World Wrestling Entertainment is the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. At the helm is none other than Vince McMahon, a man who has been called a dictator by many.

Control is a powerful thing. Like most people who make it all the way to CEO, Vince McMahon craves it. A union being formed would take away a lot of control from WWE, so McMahon is always going to be opposed to the move.

Nowadays, there is no one out there that can challenge Vince McMahon and form a professional wrestling union. John Cena and Undertaker might have the stroke to do it, but both guys are extremely loyal to WWE. There are a lot of guys outside the company, such as the ever-outspoken Konnan, who would love to do such a thing, but they do not have enough power in the industry to pull it off.

Jesse Ventura is a guy that has enough power to form a professional wrestling union. However, Ventura does not feel like getting involved in that right now because he is no longer a part of the industry. There was a point in time where he was in the industry and tried to create one.

That venture led Jesse Ventura and Vince McMahon into a courtroom. Since he was trying to do it in secrecy, Jesse wanted to know how Vince knew about his plans on forming a union. Since he was under oath, McMahon had to inform Ventura that Hulk Hogan was the one that told him about it, according to the ex wrestler.

Much like John Cena is today, Hulk Hogan was the center of the professional wrestling universe. He was the most well-known performer in WWE, which meant that he was also the most paid guy as well. Vince McMahon absolutely loved Hogan back in the days because Hulk had grown to become a global sensation.

Hulk Hogan had nothing to gain from a union being formed. In fact, it might have hurt his pockets because WWE would directly be affected by the organization. Professional wrestling is a very cutthroat industry, so it should come as no shock that Hogan tried to preserve his position at the top.

Money does a lot in this world. Hulk Hogan and Jesse Ventura were good friends at one point in time. Their friendship essentially ended because of the betrayal.
