Is Khloe Kardashian’s Talk Show Going To Be Canceled Due To Lamar Odom’s Alleged Overdose?

Khloe Kardashian has pumped the breaks on filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians and canceled her book tour, so will she also cancel her upcoming talk show, Kocktails with Khloe? Due to Lamar Odom’s current health crisis, which was reportedly due to a drug overdose, Khloe Kardashian told fans she wouldn’t be promoting her new release, Strong Looks Better Naked, which hits stores next month, but when it comes to the reality star’s talk show, a new report claims she’s moving forward full-steam.

While there had previously been some concern regarding Khloe Kardashian possibly canceling the series as she continues to support her ailing husband, a source has since confirmed the show will go on.

“[Khloe Kardashian] was asked to meet with them this week because they really wanted to make sure that she will be okay with this,” a source told Radar Online on October 30. “They needed to know that they are not wasting all of this money on production only to have her back out last minute.”

“[Khloe Kardashian] said that she is ready to roll.”

According to the report, Khloe Kardashian isn’t going to let the struggles of Odom, who has seen major progress in the last several days, get in the way of her future career — and the same goes for Scott Disick, who is currently addressing issues of substance abuse at the Cliffside rehab center in Malibu, California.

“[Khloe Kardashian] basically said that she is not going to stop drinking because Lamar and Scott can’t handle their sh*t,” the source explained.

“[Khloe Kardashian] told the executives that she is ready to get back to work,” the source added.

Khloe Kardashian’s new talk show was first announced back in July. At the time, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star revealed her exciting news to fans online, via Instagram.

“Excited to announce my new talk show Kocktails with Khloe on the @FYI network!! Can’t wait to show you all what we have in store for you on the show. More to come soon!”

According to a July report by Entertainment Tonight, Khloe Kardashian’s talk show would essentially be a “dinner party full of famous people.”

During the primetime FYI series, Khloe Kardashian will welcome celebrity guests and her famous friends, who will first join her in the kitchen for food prep and later sit down for a chat at the dinner table. The will also include “outrageously fun party games.”

As she prepares to begin production on her talk show, Khloe Kardashian continues to be a leading force of support for Odom, who is currently receiving medical treatment at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Although Odom was hospitalized in Las Vegas, where he had allegedly been using drugs and sleeping with women at a legal brothel, he was transferred to Los Angles last week after being stabilized by doctors and waking up from his coma.

While Khloe Kardashian has dedicated the majority of her time to seeing Odom through his recovery, the reality star is still dating boyfriend James Harden of the Houston Rockets. Earlier this week, she flew to Texas, where she supported Harden and his teammates in their first game of the season.
