Carrie Underwood: ‘Storyteller’ Tour Dates Announced

Country superstar Carrie Underwood recently announced the dates for her upcoming “Storyteller” tour.

Underwood, who just released her fifth studio album, revealed on her personal website that she will be launching a new arena tour in 2016! “The Storyteller Tour — Stories in the Round” will kick off on January 30, 2016, in Jacksonville, Florida, and will continue on to 40 arenas throughout the United States and Canada.

“The Storyteller Tour — Stories in the Round” will mark Underwood’s first “in the round” tour, meaning that each venue will be set up with a stage in the middle of the arena so fans can get the 360-degree view of Underwood as she belts out her lyrics.

The tour, promoted by AEG Live, will feature special guests Easton Corbin and the Swon Brothers. Additionally, the “Smoke Break” singer and seven-time Grammy Award winner has arranged for $1 from each ticket sold at the U.S. dates to be donated to the C.A.T.S Foundation to help aid its causes, which includes “Checotah, Oklahoma’s education and literacy programs.”

“I can’t wait to play new music from Storyteller for the fans,” Underwood said. “I am so blessed to have this career and get to do to the things I do, but there is nothing like that moment when I get to step onto the stage to sing and all the fans are singing along with me.”
