Jennifer Aniston: More Revelations About Her Secret Wedding And Massive ‘Love Nest’
It has been two months since Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot in their secret and intimate backyard wedding. The two had been quite the topic of media headlines for months leading up to the big day as to plans and location that the wedding might take place. Aniston and Theroux completely threw the media and even some guests off their matrimonial tracks while hashing and carrying out their plan to say their I-do’s.
Recently, more news of the big day has been revealed thanks to Jen’s now hubby, Justin, and a little chat with Vanity Fair. The two clearly did their level best, along with their planner, to ensure that utmost secrecy of the event was kept. One detail that’s been shared is that initially, the couple told friends that the big event was to celebrate Theroux’s birthday. This proved to be a mistake as not many RSVPs were received, seeing as many invitees claimed to have busy schedules and perhaps didn’t see a birthday as reason enough to alter them. The couple then came clean to those who initially said “no,” sharing the news that it was for their small wedding ceremony.
This, however, caused some mix-ups for those who immediately RSVP’d yes to the birthday bash. The result was that a handful of guests showed up in birthday celebration attire as opposed to wedding celebration formal wear. Theroux explained the mix-up that his and Aniston’s plan resulted in.
“It was actually a massive miscalculation. Afterwards, we kind of realized, like, that was a terrible plan, because you’re basically telling half your guests, ‘You’re unemployed and we can’t trust you,’ which was of course not the case, but we just kind of put it out there, and people that said yes to the birthday [we didn’t tell], and then people who said, ‘We can’t,’ we really put more pressure on them to be at the ‘birthday.'”
Although the couple remains quite busy in their respective careers, Aniston and Theroux have shared on numerous occasions, since their small ceremony and Bora Bora honeymoon, just how thrilled they are to be finally married. After years of rumors claiming that the two were on the road to a split and hinting that a wedding will never happen, Aniston and Theroux have shut it all down and shown just how meant for one another they are. A source shared with People, closer to the wedding date, that “Jen and Justin are very happy.” The two have also spoken openly on daytime television and with numerous publications as to what it’s like to finally be married.
On Good Morning America, earlier this month, Theroux communicated how it feels to be able to call Jen his wife. E! reports.
“Something really does shift in a wonderful way and it refocuses things and in a weird way, it was a long time coming.”
The couple has settled into married life as they also have moved into their new “love nest” which can be more accurately termed “love mansion.” The property cost a reported $24.9 million and boasts a wraparound terrace that allows for an “unobstructed view” of the ocean, as Realty Today notes. It also includes a pool and large drive and motor court that fits multiple cars. The space is secluded and is surrounded by vineyards.
The Bel Air home at which the couple married has five bedroom and six bathrooms, is tastefully decorated, and is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology and theater system. Not too shabby for a newly wed’s love nest.
