Fifth Harmony Singer Camila Cabello Falls For ‘Bad Boy Persona’

Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello recently dished her idea of what her ideal man would be to Latina, and the description doesn’t sound a whole lot different than her currently-rumored boyfriend Shawn Mendes.

Cabello, who joined Fifth Harmony when the band was created for the now-defunct Fox TV show X Factor, is looking for somone who will treat her right, Camila said.

“I think he just needs to be a good person. I was young and naive and stupid. But because I’m a good girl, I tend to fall for the bad boy persona, and it ends up biting me in the butt…I just need to find someone who is a good person with good values and who is focused.”

Being a part of the music industry or being famous is not a requirement for the Fifth Harmony singer. Camila Cabello wants to avoid the seedier side of the industry, she confides to Latina.

“If it happened to be someone in the music industry, it would have to be someone who is completely in it for the music, not buying into any of the fame and disgusting stuff. There’s a lot of disgusting stuff. I’m just overwhelmed by it lately. There’s gross s*** in the music industry.”

Is Cabello describing the “Stitches” singer Shawn Mendes? Camila has continuously claimed the two are not romantically inclined, but the pictures they share on Instagram would lead Fifth Harmony fans to think differently.

In addition to pictures, Camila and Shawn also mix vocals for homemade videos to share with Fifth Harmony fans. And despite their denials, Mendes has said he is looking to pick up another language — Spanish — and is hopeful Cabello will be the one to teach him its intricacies. In turn, Mendes is teaching Camila Cabello how to play the guitar, MTV News reported.

The Fifth Harmony singer also dished to MTV News information on her ex-boyfriends, including Austin Mahone.

“They end up not knowing how to treat me, and I end up completely devastated,” Camila Cabello said. “I just need to find someone who is a good person with good values and who is focused.”

This has been a period for Camila. Earlier this week, the Fifth Harmony singer joined K.C. Undercover actress Zendaya — who recently got a Barbie doll in her likeness — and other Disney starlets at the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. Cabello captured the moment on her Instagram account.

Beyond that, Camila has also had to contend with rumors Fifth Harmony has plans to separate in the near future. While she had some pretty stunning things to say in Latina about the band’s future, Cabello thinks it will be a while before the band breaks up.

“Honestly, I think we all do [think it will end one day]. We’d be lying if we all said this is a picture-perfect thing, like we all completely agreed on the album track list and what the sound and the music-video treatment would be like, which usually happens in bands who grew up together. But for manufactured bands, it’s harder.”

Camila Cabello also discussed the planned break-up for One Direction.

“Sometimes it gets to a point where they just need to express themselves,” the Fifth Harmony singer said.

The band is preparing for an European leg to their current tour, Fanlala reported. Fifth Harmony will appear on the European Music Television Awards program reportedly to sing their hit “Worth It.”

After that, Fifth Harmony and Camila Cabello will hit the road in Europe for a six-date concert series with stops in Mardrid, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Frankfurt, and Paris.
