Lamar Odom Set Up? That’s What Conspiracy Theorists Think

Conspiracy theories about Lamar Odom’s collapse at a Nevada brothel have been circulating around the internet. Some believe that the former NBA star was set up to overdose and nearly end his life.

The speculations about Lamar Odom’s alleged drug overdose are now circulating the internet. Conspiracy theorists were seen protesting outside of Sunrise Hospital, where Odom was previously staying before being transferred to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday, October 20.

They held signs that said, “Lamar Odom was set up” and “Lamar is at the wrong hospital. Sun Lies.”

The picketers were first seen at Sunday, October 18 where Lamar Odom was said to be making progress at the hospital. According to video footage obtained by X17Online, the protesters stood outside the hospital and claimed that Lamar was set up in order to be shown on future episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

It appears that there are all kinds of skepticism and conspiracy theories about Lamar Odom’s near death experience last week. The New York Post blamed the Kardashian women for exploiting sensitive situations in order to get ratings for their reality show. An alleged inside source told the news sit that they brought cameramen into Odom’s hospital room.

“It’s a s**t show. The Kardashians are trying to run everything. They walked into the hospital with cameras rolling. It was shocking, but hardly a surprise…They are all crying and pretending like they care.”

Another report via Radar Online claims that Lamar begged Khloe Kardashian not to film his collapse on KUWTK. There are also reports that claim an anonymous man cleared out Odom’s brothel suite before the police arrived to the scene.

Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof told Page Six that the mysterious man in question claimed to be both Lamar Odom’s manager and bodyguard. He arrived to the Love Ranch brothel where the former athlete was discovered unconscious and demanded to have all of Odom’s belongings.

The brothel owner told the celebrity gossip site that the unidentified man took Lamar’s phone and other belongings, but another man claiming to be Lamar’s bodyguard, arrived to the brothel later and said he doesn’t know the first man who arrived.

“I don’t know if I got conned. I think when this all shakes out, this is a shaky motherf***er. I didn’t recognize him. Something was up.”

Hof added that the police arrived to the scene after the mystery man, and did not find any drugs during that time. The owner previously denied that Odom took drugs during his stay at the Love Bunny ranch. But now he believes that two of his workers gave Odom drugs during their three-day weekend, leading him to believe it’s the reason why they decided to leave the ranch.

Sources at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch also told TMZ that Lamar appeared normal during his stay at the brothel until he got wind about a recent episode of KUWTK. Some of the prostitutes who interacted with Lamar said that he annoyed by how he was portrayed on Sunday’s night episode of the E! series. The workers said that Lamar remained “chill,” but was clearly upset. There was no evidence that he was on drugs at the time of his visit, but sources at the Ranch claimed that Lamar took herbal Viagra supplements.

This isn’t the first time that reports claimed that Lamar Odom has been set up by Khloe Kardashian and her famous family. Back in August, reports claimed that Odom was reportedly set up as a “scary stalker” when he encountered Khloe Kardashian outside her gym in the early hours of the morning.

Khloe had a scary run-in with her estranged husband outside of SoulCycle on Wednesday, August 12, but sources told TMZ that he was set up. The celebrity gossip site was the first to break the story and claim that Lamar was stalking the reality star. Lamar insists that he was innocent, and told TMZ that it was all part of the Kardashians’ plan to set him up as a psycho ex.

“I am not, not, not the person they’re trying to make me out to be. Nobody got followed. Nobody got hassled. Nobody got harassed. Nobody got grabbed on. None of that. It’s hard for me to keep my composure. Everybody that knows and supports me, I’m sorry. It’s just the dog needs to fight back. That’s it.”

If Lamar Odom’s incident ends up in future episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, that means there was some truth to the rumors. It’ll also be interesting to see how this sensitive story will play out on reality TV.
