Khloe Kardashian Remains Faithful In Focusing On Lamar Odom During Health Crisis Despite Boyfriend James Harden [Video]
Khloe Kardashian has not left Lamar Odom since joining him to do all she can for his shocking health crisis. As soon as she discovered what had happened, Khloe became frantic in her determination to do all that she could for her estranged husband. And after Kardashian arrived in the hospital where at one point he was in a medically induced coma, she has stayed strong, reported Entertainment Tonight.
“This past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes,” wrote the co-star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
And now, at 31, Kardashian is showing she understands what it means to have someone you love come so close to death. Lamar spent a week in a Las Vegas hospital ICU and was at one point in a medically induced coma.
Khloe, who remained by his bedside, also posted her appreciation to that hospital, including nurses and physicians. She expressed her hope for the future.
“I also want to…thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work…incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers…it would have been difficult to endure…God is great!!”
A Kardashian insider revealed that signs of progress include the former NBA superstar’s move to Los Angeles and the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. His condition remains weak, but he is able to sit in a chair and leave his bed at intervals. Dialysis treatments continue to be required, with concern expressed for Lamar’s overall health including his organs.
“He has so many people around him who love him,” added the insider. “He was dying only a couple of days ago. This is a miracle! We just want him to get better, nothing else right now matters.”
What lies ahead for Khloe and the Kardashians who support her? And what of her boyfriend James Harden during this time?
As the Inquisitr reported, Khloe and Lamar never completed the official divorce process. That put Kardashian in charge of what could have been life and death decisions throughout her estranged husband’s medically induced coma and during the period when he was unable to manage his own health decisions.
But it is not yet known what type of damage was done during that health crisis, from organ damage to neurological damage. And it’s all impacting Khloe, a source told E! News.
Kardashian is determined to remain “strong,” added the insider, as she follows every aspect of medical treatment that her husband is undergoing. Progress includes communicating in full sentences as well as eating and swallowing food. However, he currently is undergoing treatment for aspiration pneumonia.
Khloe is so concerned that she’s taking a break from the family’s main reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, reported the Mirror.
“She has no plans to resume filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and will continue to be at the hospital every day,” said an insider.
That source revealed that Kardashian “momager” Kris Jenner is annoyed about the decision her daughter has made, but she’s not yet pressuring her about contracts and duties.
As for Khloe’s boyfriend James Harden, he’s giving Kardashian full support, reported E! News.
The Houston Rockets player and Khloe continue to date, and James recognizes that Kardashian plays a key role in providing support to her estranged husband.
“The last thing [Harden] would want to do would be to add more stress to her plate,” shared a source.
