James Harden Returns To Instagram As Khloe Kardashian Remains With Husband Lamar Odom -- Are They Headed For A Breakup?

James Harden has returned to social media for the first time since his girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian, left Los Angeles to travel to Las Vegas, where her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, recently came out of a coma. On October 18, James Harden of the Houston Rockets posted a photo of himself and a friend on his Instagram page.

"Beast mode!!!! @teamcjcorrea #HTown!" James Harden wrote with the pic, his first of the week.

James Harden has been linked to Kardashian since this past summer, following the end of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's romance with rapper French Montana, whom she had been seeing on-and-off for several months.

While many in his situation could be a bit insecure, James Harden is reportedly aware of what Odom means to Kardashian and isn't threatened by her decision to stay at his side as he continues to recover from a reported drug overdose.

"[James Harden] has told Khloe not to worry about him at all through this whole Lamar ordeal and she can take as much time as she needs to be with Lamar," a source revealed to Hollywood Life on October 15.

According to the source, James Harden is focusing on his upcoming season with the Rockets, as well as the current preseason, and doesn't find it necessary to be consumed with Kardashian's dedication to Odom. Instead, said the source, James Harden is focused on the bigger picture.

"Times like this are when people show who they really are and [James Harden] has complete compassion for Lamar and is shocked by the news that he's in a hospital, clinging to life. He spoke to Khloe and absolutely encouraged her to be there for Lamar and his family during this time. He's completely supportive of Khloe at this moment. He's never heard Khloe sound so scared and nervous in his life after talking to her about this situation. She has been down right frantic."
On Tuesday, October 13, nearly one week ago, Kardashian's estranged husband, Odom, was found unconscious by two women at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. According to TMZ, the former professional athlete had been staying in a VIP suite at the venue since Saturday before he reportedly suffered an overdose. Once taken to a nearby hospital and then to a second facility, the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, it was determined that Odom had cocaine and opiates in his system, as well as an herbal substitute for Viagra.

In September, a source spoke to E! News about James Harden and Kardashian's romance, claiming the reality star was "really happy" with her new man. At the time, a source said the couple had been dating for a "few months."

On July 4, news of the couple's romance first hit the web when they were spotted celebrating the holiday together in Las Vegas. In the months that followed, the two have gone on a couple of trips together, and at one point, Kardashian threw a massive birthday party, which included fireworks, for James Harden off the coast of Los Angeles.

Around the same time, a source spoke to Us Weekly, claiming Odom was devastated by his estranged wife's new romance with James Harden.

"Lamar has been hating that Khloe is with [James Harden]," the insider explained. "Lamar wants her back. That's what stopped the communication on her end."

James Harden has not yet commented on his fellow basketball player's current condition. However, a number of other athletes, including Quentin Richardson, Dwayne Wade, Charlie Villanueva, Paul Pierce, and Eric Gordon, tweeted their support and well-wishes to Odom and his family in the days since his health tragedy occurred.
