Heather Dubrow’s ‘Botched: Post-Op’ Show Gets Mocked Online

Heather Dubrow may not have seen much of her husband on this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. As it turns out, Terry Dubrow is actually working more now than when they started building their massive home. Not only is Terry filming for Bravo, but he is also filming Botched with former housewife cast member Paul Nassif. Paul was married to Adrienne Maloof from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

For a while, Heather Dubrow complained that her husband was never home, and that she was building their massive mansion all by herself. But these days, it sounds like she has found a way to get closer to her husband. Dubrow, who has acting experience, is now hosting the Botched: Post-Op show, where the doctors catch up with former patients and see some hilarious behind-the-scenes clips.

According to a new Bravo report, Heather Dubrow is now being criticized slightly over the show — but it isn’t so much the show itself. In fact, it has to do with the audience. After the show aired, Dubrow started getting some criticism over the audience. Some people thought that the audience was fake and pre-recorded, but Heather stands by the fact that it was all live.

“The Post-Op show is adorable. But please lose the fake audience responses & laughing. It would be much better without,” one person wrote to Heather, while another added, “Hey E! Online. On the #Botched after show hosted by Heather Dubrow — please don’t use the canned laughter……or use it correctly.”

“Funny, it was a live audience!!!” Heather replied, setting the record straight to several followers who felt that the show was faked in terms of the audience responses. One of the biggest things that got a huge response from the audience was Heather Dubrow’s story about her husband. Apparently, Terry sneezes rather funny, and Dubrow shared the story in hopes of getting an audience reaction. “He sneezes like five times in a row and the tongue is sticking out,” Heather told the audience during the first episode, adding, “It’s not cute.” It was during this time that fans noticed the audience reaction, and it wasn’t exactly liked by some viewers. Maybe Heather Dubrow will give some tips for upcoming episodes, so the reactions are more realistic and in-tune with what is being said and done on the show.

But it may be refreshing for Heather to film something other than The Real Housewives of Orange County. Dubrow has been dealing with the cancer lie that Brooks Ayers has supposedly told the other ladies. It is highly believed that he lied about having cancer, and Heather was involved with the drama when a story surfaced that Terry came to his house to administer an IV for him when he wasn’t feeling good. Dubrow explains that this event never happened, and Shannon Beador shared her thoughts after learning of this news.

“I was quite surprised to hear Terry Dubrow say that he never sent a colleague over to Vicki’s home to administer an IV after Brooks had his first chemo treatment in October. I called Vicki to see how Brooks was feeling after his first chemo and she told me this story … When Heather asks Vicki about it, she responds that she may have been out of town. She wasn’t,” Shannon Beador has said about the finale drama, according to her Bravo blog.

Dubrow hasn’t said much about the cancer story. She has distanced herself from Vicki Gunvalson after learning about everything that has come out.

What do you think about Heather Dubrow’s reply on Twitter in regards to Botched: Post-Op? Do you think she has more fun filming this show than The Real Housewives of Orange County?
