New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Trailer Release Date Revealed

It’s pretty much a certainty that the new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will premiere next week, with more and more reports all insisting that it will air on Monday, October 19.

As the Inquisitr reported over the weekend, there had been a few rumors that predicted the latest trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens would be released at some point over the next two weeks.

But now, ScreenCrush has confirmed that the brand new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released this coming Monday to coincide with the opportunity for fans to pre-order their tickets for the film’s December 18 release date.

ScreenCrush has been joined by many other publications, whose sources have revealed that this is when the new trailer for The Force Awakens will be released. This won’t just be the new trailer for the hugely anticipated blockbuster, though, it will also be its final trailer, too. It’s believed that it will then be followed by numerous TV spots to amp up excitement that little bit more ahead of its release.

After premiering online on October 19, the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will then hit cinemas on November 6 alongside Spectre, the latest James Bond film, which will star Daniel Craig as 007 and is once again being directed by Sam Mendes.

While it’s not been officially confirmed that pre-order tickets for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be made available on Monday, October 19, many reports have emerged that believe that will be the case.

On Tuesday, Cinemark Official accidentally uploaded an official graphic to their Facebook account that confirmed this would be the case. However, they quickly realised the error of their ways and deleted it. However, because we live in an age when anything written on the internet can be screen-grabbed, captured, and then used as a reminder of someone’s mistake, you can check out their post here.

The post reads, “In the next Monday begins the pre-sale of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at #Cinemark! Run before the Stormtroopers end up with all the tickets.”

Users over at TheForce.net have also added further fuel to the fire that this Monday is when pre-sale tickets will become available, as AMC Theaters managers across the United States and Canada have told their staff that the Star Wars: The Force Awakens tickets will become available on that date.

While all of this is just rumors at the moment, it’s thought that the good people over at Disney and Lucasfilm will inform the general public of the trailer’s debut and pre-sale ticket plans before October 19. That’s not likely to be until either Friday or over the weekend, though.

There’s also a chance that they will prefix the release of the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens with a teaser for the trailer a day before it’s actually released.

Either way, even if all of these publications are wide of the mark and their sources have just been pulling their legs, the new and final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is going to be released very, very soon.

If you don’t know, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will finally be in cinemas on December 18, 2015. It has been co-written by J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan, with Abrams himself directing the blockbuster.

Alongside newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, and Domhnall Gleeson, the stars of the original trilogy, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker will each return, while John Williams will also be providing the famous score.
