‘Tayvin’ Thanksgiving 2015: Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Spending Holiday Together [Rumors]

There has been much speculation about Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’ relationship status. Some have been worried that the couple has split, especially since the couple hasn’t been seen in recent photos or at public appearances. Now, there are new rumors claiming that the couple, known as “Tayvin” to their fans, are, in fact, still together, and are planning to have Thanksgiving together.

That’s right. Taylor Swift, 25, and Calvin Harris, 31, are spending Thanksgiving together, despite the rumors that the couple has called it quits. According to a new report via the Hollywood Life, Swift wants to give her Scottish boyfriend his very first American Thanksgiving dinner in her hometown of Nashville. An insider gave the celebrity gossip blog the scoop on Swift’s holiday plans.

“Taylor and Calvin are already thinking about spending Thanksgiving together, and they want to do it with her family. She wants to show Calvin what a real American Thanksgiving is like in Nashville, and it’ll be a big family gathering with lots of games being played.”

The alleged snitch went on to say that Harris is keen with the idea. He looks forward to having turkey with all the fixings.

“Calvin can’t wait because he’s never really experienced a proper Thanksgiving like that before.”

Swift and Harris have dated since February, shortly after they met at the 2015 Brit Awards. Harris previously dated model Aarika Wolf, and Swift was in a whirlwind relationship with Harry Styles. Swift and Harris made their relationship official with a hug and kiss at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, and then took it one step further when they redefined “relationship goals” by sharing photos of themselves on social media. Since Swift and Harris’ relationship has received so much media scrutiny and attention, the couple wants to slow things down a bit.

According to a previous report via the Inquisitr, Taylor and Calvin are actually on a break and plan to resume their relationship after her 1989 World Tour. Another inside source told British tabloids that Taylor wants to take a long break so she can focus on her friends, family, and her boyfriend. An insider also told the Hollywood Life that she wants to focus on the “How Deep Is Your Love” DJ in the coming months.

“[Taylor] is looking forward to be able to give him more of her time. [Calvin] is not the only reason she wants a break, but he’s a factor. She wants to have more time with him.”

This doesn’t appear to be a rumor. Swift just recently expressed to NME Magazine that she would love to take a long break after her 1989 tour and era wraps up. In fact, Swift believes that both her dedicated fanbase and the general public may have had enough of her. She’s aware that she’s overexposed, so she wants to take the time to relax and spend more time with the people she loves.

It looks like the recent news about Taylor’s Thanksgiving plans with Calvin is just all hearsay and speculation at the moment. It’s been reported that it’s been nearly eight weeks since the couple has mentioned each other on social media, although they have liked each other’s posts. In addition, it has been almost six weeks since Cal and Tay have been spotted out in public. But that could contribute to the rumors which claim they’re cooling things down in their relationship.

Fans have also noticed that Swift and Harris didn’t even spend time together when they were in the same state. Swift performed in Omaha over the weekend, while Harris performed a gig in Vegas. However, the couple didn’t make an appearance at each other’s concerts. Rumors have circulated that Swift and Harris plan to make their relationship as private as possible by having secret meet-ups and not sharing couple photos on social media.

Even Selena Gomez confirmed to Ellen DeGeneres that the two are still together, despite the daily rumors. Sorry, Tayvin fans! Looks like you’ll have to wait and see if they do spend Thanksgiving together — and share a family photo on Instagram.
