Shannon Beador Updates Instagram Ahead Of ‘RHOC’ Finale Showdown With Vicki Gunvalson

Shannon Beador updated her Instagram account on Sunday, October 11, one day prior to The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 coming to an end. Ahead of tonight’s finale episode, Shannon Beador shared a photo of two of her three daughters.

“So good to be home! It’s 100 degrees in OCTOBER for goodness sakes! #goorangebombers #stayhydrated #gatoradenecessary.”

Shannon Beador’s home life with her children and her husband, David, took center stage during the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County due to Shannon Beador’s revelation of David’s eight-month affair with another woman. Throughout the 10th season, Shannon Beador exposed the inner happenings of her marriage to fans, and it wasn’t pretty. In addition to revealing her husband had cheated on her and that the woman had actually attempted to befriend her, Shannon Beador claimed one of her co-stars had known about David’s infidelities prior to her finding out.

Shannon Beador’s marriage nearly came to an end after David’s cheating was exposed, but luckily for their family, the couple was able to work through their issues in counseling. During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Shannon Beador confirmed she and David were even happier than they were prior to his affair.

On October 5, following last week’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon Beador faced backlash over her alleged failure to stand by Gunvalson amid her then-boyfriend’s fake cancer drama. In response, Shannon Beador explained the following to readers of her Bravo blog.

“I have looked at some of the social media comments in the last few weeks and I have to say it is quite upsetting to hear that some viewers believe I haven’t been a good friend to Vicki Gunvalson. I have been by my friend’s side throughout this season, more than any other cast member. As a good friend, I wanted to help Vicki and Brooks stop the rumors about his illness. As much as she thought she could say ‘put a pin in it’ and stop the talk, that wasn’t happening.”

Shannon Beador went on to explain that she asked Gunvalson to go to lunch because she “truly” wanted to end the ongoing speculation into Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis. While Shannon Beador acknowledged that Ayers having to reveal medical records to prove his cancer was real was “outrageous,” the storyline had gotten to the point where she felt it was the only solution to the ongoing drama.

Although Shannon Beador’s friendship with Gunvalson appears to be strained at this point, there could still be hope for a future reconciliation. Last week on Twitter, after the finale preview revealed her screaming match with Shannon Beador, Gunvalson told fans she and Beador would eventually fix their issues.

Shannon Beador has starred on The Real Housewives of Orange County since Season 9, when she was brought aboard the series along with Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rovsek to replace Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino, who left the show after Season 8. While Shannon Beador has continued her full-time role on the show into Season 10, Rovsek has since been featured in a part-time or friend role.

For more of Shannon Beador, her husband, David, and their co-stars, tune into The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 finale tonight, October 12, at 9 p.m., and stay tuned at 11 p.m. for Vicki Gunvalson’s appearance on Andy Cohen’s late-night show, Watch What Happens Live.
