Chris Bosh’s Masseuse Dies After Massage Session At NBA Player’s Home

A female masseuse died last night after she collapsed at the home of Chris Bosh. Police have not released the name of the woman or any details about the case. Police did say, however, that foul play is not suspected.

USA Today reports that the unidentified woman went to Bosh’s home on Monday morning for a massage session. The woman appeared to be in good health upon entering the home but at about 2:28 p.m. she “suddenly collapsed.”

Rescue workers were called to the scene and transported the woman to a nearby hospital. She passed away on Monday night.

Miami Beach police spokeswoman Vivian Hernandez said that there will be a standard death investigation but the department said that no signs of foul play have been found so far.

Hernandez said:

“It doesn’t look like any foul play is suspected at this time.”

The Miami Herald reports that a friend of the deceased masseuse said that the woman had survived cancer a year ago. A cause of death is not known at this time.

Bosh is currently preparing for game five of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Bosh, who is a “game-time decision” for tonight’s Miami Heat / Boston Celtics game, has not commented on the death of his masseuse.
