Shannon Beador Friendship Ended Due To Vicki Gunvalson’s Lies? ‘Real Housewives’ Star Responds

Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson are seen at odds during the upcoming finale episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. During the show, the two women are seen at a group party with their co-stars, including Tamra Barney, Heather Dubrow, and Meghan King Edmonds, when they begin to argue about the reason behind their alleged fallout.

While Shannon Beador and Gunvalson seem to have differing opinions on what went wrong between them, with Shannon Beador claiming she’s frustrated about being dragged into a story that didn’t make sense, and Gunvalson claiming she’s been ignoring her phone calls, Gunvalson remains confident they will eventually reconcile.

On Twitter, when a fan by the name of Chris Adelaide said he hoped Shannon Beador and Gunvalson would soon fix their issues, Gunvalson said simply, “We will!”

Also on Twitter, on October 8, Gunvalson faced a comment made by a fan that alleged Shannon Beador had cut ties with her due to her and Brooks Ayers’ alleged lies about his cancer diagnosis.

“[Shannon Beador] was no longer buying what [Vicki] and [Brooks] were selling,” the fan wrote.

In response, Gunvalson claimed, “I never sold anything! I have told my truth.”

Shannon Beador joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County for Season 9, following the exits of Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi after Season 8. Since then, she has been featured alongside Gunvalson (the only remaining original cast member of the series) in a full-time role. For the most part, she’s been close with Gunvalson during filming.

Although fans may have to wait until the reunion special for the series begins airing later this month to find out what really happened between Shannon Beador and Gunvalson, there have been multiple reports regarding what may have led to their fall out. Most recently, a source told Radar Online their dispute began during a lunch date, which aired on Season 10.

“During that lunch, [Shannon Beador] should have just been a listening ear and a friend. That is all that Vicki wanted her to be at that moment. Instead, she pushed and pushed when Vicki was really just wanting to have someone to talk to… The only thing that Vicki is really guilty of in all of this is loving Brooks.”

According to the report, Shannon Beador was pushing Gunvalson to reveal documents of Ayers’ cancer diagnosis to their co-stars in order to silence the speculation into his health. As the source explained, Shannon Beador simply felt the storyline had been blown out of proportion and that showing Ayers’ medical documents would give their co-stars the answers they were looking for.

“[Shannon Beador] was trying to be honest with her,” the source explained. “That’s what friends do. [Shannon Beador] was only saying that out of concern and she was just trying to find a solution. But instead of taking her advice, Vicki completely turned on her. [Shannon Beador] has not changed her stance on this and Vicki knows the truth.”

Shannon Beador and Gunvalson haven’t spoken online in the weeks since their fallout, but judging by Gunvalson’s tweet about reconciling, she’s definitely open to the idea and hoping she and Shannon Beador will soon make amends.
