Blake Shelton is single after splitting from Miranda Lambert and apparently more than ready to mingle with Gwen Stefani. The Voice coaches have been enjoying so much flirty fun on the singing competition that rumors rapidly spread that Blake and Gwen were romancing away from the bright lights of the camera. So are the romance rumors true or false about the singers?
Shelton and Stefani really are a couple, a source told Us Weekly.
From describing Blake as sweet to getting what amounted to a lap dance from Shelton, Gwen has been enjoying the flirtation while having an impact on the country crooner, said an insider.
“They’re a real thing,” said that insider.
As for what Blake, 39, thinks about fashionable Gwen, 46, a source revealed that he’s impressed by her style.
“He thinks she’s a bada**!” summed up that insider.
In addition, the sources revealed that Stefani has had a positive influence on Shelton’s fashion sense, changing him from self-described redneck to a country dude who is more aware of what’s trendy and what’s tacky.
But it’s not just one-sided when it comes to Gwen and Blake. Stefani is struggling to survive what an insider describes as her nasty divorce from Gavin Rossdale. Gwen and Blake did not have a prenup, and Gavin is now living it up in a posh $6.5 million home. Rossdale and Gwen have three boys, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 19 months.
Blake and Miranda have succeeded in maintaining amicable relationships after finalizing the divorce in July. They even tease one another on social media and make it clear that no hard feelings exist between the former couple.
Moreover, Shelton actually has gotten healthier since the split by winning his weight loss battle, reported People.
Prior to the divorce, Blake was struggling to arrange his schedule so he could be with Miranda. Now, with more free time, Shelton can take time for himself, find peace, and even work out more hours in the gym, said a pal.
“He’s working out and taking care of himself,” added the insider. “He worked out before, but now he has more time and he’s just in a really healthy place.”
Blake is focusing on his health and his music, said the pal. Shelton will release his album Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits later this month.
But amid all the flirting and fitness, Blake is battling rumors that he was partying with strippers and having problems with excess alcohol, reported Ace Showbiz.
Shelton used humor to deflect the reports.
“Shouldn’t I get to do all these things since I’m already accused of them?” joked Blake.
The rumors included that Shelton had been enjoying parties with strippers and that he was drunk. Blake admitted he was shocked by those reports.
“The stuff I read about myself blows my mind… I literally just got back from FAR northern Quebec chasing caribou and now read about all the crazy stuff I’ve been doing lately?!! #WTF?!”
So what ya gonna do? Shelton decided that only one solution was available.
“Son of a b***h!!!! This calls for a drink,” posted Blake.
And when a follower informed Shelton that those rumors resulted from his celebrity stature, Blake denied it.
“That’s called being a celebrity!! No matter what you do they’ll turn it around so you’re the bad guy!! #teamblake,” wrote the fan.
Wrong, wrote Blake.
“I’m not a celebrity… I’m a country singer!!!” declared Shelton.
