Kim Zolciak Officially Won’t Return To ‘Dancing With the Stars’ To Compete
When news came out that Kim Zolciak wasn’t returning to Dancing with the Stars after a mini-stroke, she immediately started fighting to try to get back on the show. Kim simply couldn’t fly out to L.A. to do the show even though the doctors had cleared her to dance. Zolciak had been working hard to learn the dance, but she couldn’t fly, so they pulled her out of the competition since she wasn’t there to do her part. People shared the news that Kim Zolciak was not able to pull it off, and she will not be returning to the show to compete again for the mirror ball trophy.
On Monday, Kim Zolciak shared that she will not get to come back until the finale. On finale night, they always have all of the dancers from the Season 3. Kim shared on her Instagram a post from Paula Deen along with a development today.
“How sweet is @pauladeen_official @paula_deen. My heart is so heavy not being on the set today of DWTS with everyone, but I’m healthy and happy I finally was able to attend my husbands game! I’ll be back for the finale in NOV I’ll kick a**.”

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba revealed to People that she loves that Kim Zolciak didn’t give up. Here is what she had to say about Kim.
“I always love somebody who doesn’t give up, okay. I think that that’s a wonderful spirit to have. You should never give up. However… our rules say that she has to be out. I think that it would be unfair to the other competitors if she came back because she did not compete.”
Us Magazine shared that Kim Zolciak actually started a petition to try to get herself back on Dancing with the Stars. She didn’t feel like it was fair and wanted another chance this week. Fans were hopeful that this would happen, but it hasn’t worked out for her. The show is very strict with their rules and will not let Kim Zolciak back on no matter what because she wasn’t able to compete last week.
At the time, Kim went to her Instagram sharing a link to the petition and also shared what she wanted to happen.

I had no restrictions BUT flying until today. Yes the timing sucked but ultimately my health is first. I wanted to dance here in ATL via satellite last night I can dance I just couldn’t fly. Kim Zolciak is a busy mom of six children and also the wife of football player Kroy Biermann. This reality star had found time to include Dancing with the Stars in her busy schedule, but it doesn’t matter now. You know that Kim will learn an amazing dance for the finale. You will not want to miss out on seeing how much she has improved when she does get to come back in a few weeks. Kim improved a lot in just her small amount of time on the show, and you know Kim Zolciak will look even better on finale night.
