Ariana Grande is already back to her signature ponytail. The powerhouse singer showed off her naturally curly hair on Instagram, sending fans in frenzy.
Ariana Grande, 22, is known for wearing her hair super straight in a half up, half down ponytail or a high ponytail, but she revealed her natural tresses to the world a day after her appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Grande took to Instagram account to post a collage of selfies to show off her new curly locks. She included the caption: "peekaboo healthy curlys long time no see."
The man behind her beautiful new curls is none other than celebrity stylist Ricky Pennisi, according to a report via the Fashion Times. He told the magazine how Ari's own fans can copy this look.
"To style your hair curly, just like Ariana, start with freshly washed hair. After towel drying, apply about a dime-size amount of styling gel."Creating the actual curls will require adding a little more product, according to the found of RI CI products.
"Then, use a setting spray to lock your curls in place. This product will keep frizz at bay, but still leave your curls soft to the touch. The trick is when your hair is about 90 percent dry, hit the cold button on the dryer. Then, when your hair is 99 percent dry, use the diffuser with the dryer on the cold setting. This will give you a softer, looser curl like Ariana."In her new photos, she's also rocking some side braids, which were a huge trend this summer. Ricky says to get Grande's braids, you just pinch a section by your hairline slowly, twist the hair back and grab each section behind it to create a braided style.
As witnessed by her social media accounts, Ariana Grande is already back to her blown out straight hair and high ponytails. She is also busy promoting her debut fragrance, Ari by Ariana Grande. The "One Last Time" singer made a surprise appearance at Ulta in Chicago. Despite having an entourage, the singer acted very much like a normal 22-year-old girl and less like the diva that the media paints her out to be. Grande's surprise appearance was made hours before the pint-size diva had her polished performance at the United Center, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The singer also revealed that she feels sexiest when she "smells good," which is part of the reason why she wanted to create the fragrance.
"Right before I do a show, when I'm getting into my costume and when I'm in it. Well, I did feel so pretty in the white Versace dress I wore to the Grammys this year. But honestly? I feel my sexiest when I smell good."Ariana is rumored to be dating her backup dancer Ricky Alvarez. She also revealed that she is "such a romantic."
"I'm traditional when it comes to that stuff. Love, for me, is laughter, respect, good conversation, genuine support, and more laughter. The last time someone did something sweet for me was when I received a lavender flower arrangement and a cryptic card. I eventually figured out what the message meant, and it was so rewarding."There's no doubt that Grande has been compared to the likes of her female contemporaries. She's already been compared to Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera for their similar singing styles and diva behavior. In her new interview with the Daily & Sunday Telegraph, Grande slammed both the media and society, claiming that women are always pitted against each other when it's not the same for men. The remarks came after Grande was compared to the likes of a young Jennifer Lopez.
"There's a lot of competition as a female in this industry and I think that it is all well intentioned but I think that everyone is an individual and should be celebrated as such.Ariana Grande is working on new music at the moment. She's been teasing the lyrics of her new single, "Focus," which will be released by the end of this month. Ariana is also releasing her third studio album, Moonlight, which will be coming in the next few months. She's been making guest appearances on FOX's new show, Scream Queens, and the upcoming flick, Zoolander 2. Meanwhile, Ari by Ariana Grande is now available in select retail stores and beauty outlets.
You don't do that to Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran. You don't do that to Abel [The Weeknd] and Drake. People don't do that, they just don't so I think we need to work on that but I appreciate the compliment."
