Vicki Gunvalson, Brooks Ayers ‘Real Housewives’ Cancer Drama: Meghan Edmonds Sued, Heather Dubrow Preps RHOC Reunion

Vicki Gunvalson has been one of the most dramatic self-proclaimed OGs (old girls) on Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) for years. But after a season, which saw Vicki in a tumultuous battle with even her closest friends over her ex Brooks Ayers and his does-he-or-doesn’t-he-have cancer drama, rumors are spreading that Gunvalson will leave the show, reported LA Late.

Now, following the RHOC reunion taping at which some predicted that her co-stars would gang up against her, will Vicki declared that although she loves Orange County, she can’t handle another season with those Real Housewives?

A remark that Gunvalson made led some to fear that she was exiting the show.

“What a shocking season finale. Glad it’s over. Time to move on to a bigger and brighter future,” said Vicki.

Gunvalson fans feared the worst from that part about moving on, and immediately urged her to stay.

“I hope that doesn’t mean you are not returning! I have been a fan for years, You Make the show,” declared one fan.

“I hope you come back you’re the Queen. Positive vibes,” chimed in another devotee.

And others sneakily worked in a slam for new girls while praising Vicki’s longevity.

“If you leave the show, that would be the end of show for me as for others too. You’re the O.G we don’t need to see a girl who is playing house try and be Queen B.”

But the question remains of what will happen if Vicki decides she wants to stay on the Real Housewives Of Orange County without Brooks. Gunvalson previously revealed that she had been warned that attempting to film minus Ayers would endanger her appearance on RHOC, for which Vicki earns a reported $850,000 or more per season.

Meghan King Edmonds has been one of the most vocal challenges of Brooks’ claim that he has cancer, and now Meghan is being threatened with legal action in the form of a letter from Ayers and his lawyer, reported People.

The drama over Brooks, who was Vicki’s boyfriend, concerns the validity of whether his cancer diagnosis is true. Ayers says he received a diagnosis of stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2013.

“I am waiting patiently on my official documents that I’m being sued,” said Meghan. “I already got one letter threatening to sue if I don’t comply with his requests, including one to issue a formal public apology.”

In that document, Edmonds was given a deadline (which has passed) by which she had to respond.

“I didn’t respond on purpose, because he’s full of crap and doesn’t have a case. So now I’m waiting to be sued,” commented the 31-year-old reality TV star.

Meghan describes Brooks as lying and angry, contending that he’s attempting to manipulate her through intimidation so that she will stay silent.

“I simply laughed it off. He doesn’t have the balls to sue me.”

But it’s not just Edmonds who doesn’t believe Ayers. Tamra Judge and others also have wondered if it’s true, although Brooks continues to say that he is ill.

During the most recent season of RHOC, Ayers revealed that he was no longer on chemotherapy and instead was turning to alternative medicine. That revelation combined with the fact that Brooks continues a lively life socially made the other Real Housewives be even more suspicious of his credibility.

Heather Dubrow is among those questioning Brooks, reported Bravo.

“We want to know what the heck is going on for good. Let’s just flesh it out so we never have to talk about it again. I guess, you know, the Brooks thing — it’s no one’s business but you will see in the final episodes — and at the reunion — that some of us were pulled into this story. Especially me, in general, I got pulled into this by Brooks and now I am in,” admitted Dubrow.

Heather also offered a preview of what could happen at the RHOC reunion, confessing that she’s eager to see how Vicki reacts to all the other Real Housewives dishing on the drama. And she’s also looking forward to something else for the Orange County ladies after the reunion.

“The drinking after!” she exclaimed happily.

In Vicki’s view, the Real Housewives reunion can be summed up as “shocking,” but she tried to look forward to what’s ahead for her. And while Tamra, Heather, and Meghan stayed secret on all the details of what happened, Shannon Beador got fierce, feisty and fabulous with a facial followed by a tough workout prior to the reunion.
