Brandi Glanville Says Something About Joanna Krupa Is ‘Smelly,’ And She Wants Her To Admit It Under Oath

Anyone who has watched The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is familiar with the eyebrow-raising comments that seem to be Brandi Glanville’s stock-in trade. She has caused numerous controversies during her time as a Housewife, like when she said her RHOBH castmate Joyce Giraud didn’t know how to swim because she’s black. She also reportedly had a vicious run-in with Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, Kenya Moore.

But she might have taken things a bit too far when she made comments about the state of Joanna Krupa’s private parts, prompting the then Real Housewives of Miami star to sic her lawyers on Glanville. Now Glanville and her lawyers are looking for ways to counter Krupa’s lawsuit.

The two have admittedly sniped at each other on social media before, but it all came to a head in 2013, when Glanville told host Andy Cohen that Krupa was having an affair with Mohamed Hadid. At the time, Hadid was still married to Glanville’s co-star Yolanda Foster.

The 42-year-old Glanville made the accusation while guesting on Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live after she heard Krupa’s latest Twitter dig. Aside from basically saying that the Polish-American model broke up a marriage, she also shared what Krupa’s alleged lover told her. “Well, Mohamed did tell me that her p***y smelt,” Glanville revealed, adding that Lisa Vanderpump was also there when Hadid said that.

Krupa denied the allegations leveled against her by Glanville, saying that she never had an affair with Hadid. “I’ve known the guy for 10 years, he’s a dear friend of mine,” Krupa said. “I never hooked up with him.” She also said her private parts didn’t smell and wondered what Glanville had against her. But the Drinking and Tweeting author repeated her claim about Krupa’s private parts on another Watch What Happens Live episode in December 2014.

That was apparently the last straw for Krupa, as court papers were filed against Glanville on Jan. 22 in Miami-Dade County state for “slander, libel, defamation and/or intentional inflection of emotional distress.”

The lawsuit read that Glanville knew her statements “were false and that such were damaging to Mrs. Krupa and/or her husband and subjected Mrs. Krupa and/or her husband to hatred, ridicule, contempt, and/or injury to her/his/their reputation.”

It also stated that “Mr. Hadid, Mrs. Foster, and Mrs. Vanderpump publicly confirmed” that the statements were untrue, but that Glanville kept saying them to make herself “marketable.”

Krupa’s lawyer, Raymond J. Rafool, had announced his plans to depose Hadid, Foster, Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and even Alex Baskin, the creator of the Real Housewives series for the lawsuit. The deposition had been scheduled in August, with Rafool flying out to get their statements.

On Glanville’s end, it has been reported that her lawyer’s defense strategy was to get Krupa to admit under oath that her vagina does indeed smell.

It has also been reported that Glanville wants the defamation lawsuit thrown out, since Krupa’s contract with Real Housewives forbids her from suing other cast members.

Gossip site TMZ alleges to have obtained documents that the dismissed Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star will use that particular loophole to get out of the lawsuit.

However, Glanville has admitted that although she has not seen Krupa’s contract, she is sure that it also contains that particular clause. The Real Housewives reality shows do thrive in the wives fighting with each other, so some say it would make sense to have a no-lawsuit clause in the cast members’ contracts.

But Krupa’s lawyer is not sold on the alleged loophole and appears determined to proceed with the case.

Krupa is demanding a public apology, as well as more than $15,000 in damages. According to Krupa’s lawyer, Brandi Glanville’s malicious comments have caused his client emotional distress. He added that Krupa’s “public persona and image are important to her” as she’s involved in organizations like PETA.
