Kaley Cuoco, Ryan Sweeting Split As She Kisses New BFF: ‘Big Bang Theory’ Star & Ex Lived In Jinxed Home [Photos]
Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are sweethearts no more. Famed for her Big Bang Theory acting charm, Kaley mutually agreed to split with her tennis pro husband. Cuoco and Ryan were married for almost 21 months, reported Us Weekly.
“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,” said the official statement. “They ask for privacy at this time.”
The pair tied the knot in 2013, and Kaley, 29, initially seemed joyful at her marriage. But Cuoco’s happiness over her relationship with Ryan publicly broke up with a big bang following the divorce news.
Sweeting, a 28-year-old tennis professional, removed his Instagram and Facebook postings, disabling the latter, while Kaley eliminated her ex off her social media.
But when they got together, an insider claimed that Cuoco believed that Ryan was the one and only for her. Sweeting became Kaley’s perfect guy after only three months, according to that source.
“She knows Ryan is the one,” said the insider. “When you know, you know.”
Prior to revealing the break-up, Kaley fought the reports that they were having marital problems. Cuoco shared a picture of Ryan in his sports world, sharing that she was proud about his abilities.
“I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet — this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant ‘conversation’ regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make,” Kaley wrote. “I’m so proud of his passion and his inner strength to fight back, but most of all I am proud to be his wife.”
That photo and praise has since been deleted.
Cuoco and Ryan spent much of their married life in what is now being termed a jinxed home, reported the Daily Mail.
The Big Bang Theory actress and Sweeting purchased the mansion formerly owned by Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom in California for $5.49 million.
And now, just like Khloe and Lamar, Kaley and Ryan are finding themselves in a highly publicized break-up after living there. Kardashian and her ex profited from that sale, raking in almost $1.5 million.
Among the charms of that now seemingly cursed house are a fabulous sunken swimming pool, palm-tree-sheltered exteriors, up-dated kitchen, and extravagant stairway designed for grand entrances to parties that none of the four celebrities who lived there will hold as a couple again.
Making a million per Big Bang Theory episode, Kaley has not revealed whether she had a prenuptial agreement.
But for Cuoco, it’s not all loneliness after splitting with Ryan. Since the news broke about Kaley’s split with Sweeting, she has a new family member who has already become her kiss-worthy BFF, reported E! News.
Cuoco showcased her new best buddy on Instagram, showing the actress giving a brown horse a big kiss.
“Welcome to the family, Zaza,” posted Kaley.
The photo revealed that Cuoco appears to have removed both her wedding band and engagement ring.
And for those wondering why Kaley’s Instagram account uses the alias Norman Cook, 2 Paragraphs reports that Cuoco has a dog named Norman.
Cuoco translates to “cook” in Italian.
