Kate Middleton Covers Stomach With Purse, Pregnancy Rumors Increase

Kate Middleton probably didn’t mean to increase speculation over her possible pregnancy when she stepped out for her royal engagement on Friday in Woking, England. However, it was impossible not to notice her strategically covering her stomach with her purse as she arrived at the event, which in the process did just that.

On Friday, Kate Middleton visited Send Women’s Prison, where she learned about how the Rehabilitation for Addicted Prisoner’s Trust works with prisoners to try and battle their addictions to both drugs and alcohol.

But, when she arrived she was seen clutching her bag and purse very tightly and pressing it up against her stomach. This wasn’t just on one occasion. She did so when she arrived.

Then when she was making small talk with one of the employees at the Rehabilitation center.

The Duchess of Cambridge even made sure to subtly place the bag over her belly when she was being updated about some of the tragic tales and history of the charity and their efforts.

Heck, even when Kate Middleton was laughing and joking around with one of their employees, she made sure that the bag was never not concealing her midriff.

And while conspiracy theorists will point to this as bonafide evidence that Kate Middleton is once again pregnant with her and Prince William’s third child, there could just be a more simple explanation for her decision to hold the bag there: it’s where it felt most comfortable.

Rumors that the Duchess of Cambridge was once again pregnant began to emerge last month, when a source allegedly told Star magazine, via Closer Weekly, that Middleton was already in the early stages, even though she’d just given birth to Princess Charlotte four months previously.

The source alleged, “She’s in the early stages of pregnancy with baby number three and she’s not taking any chances… Kate has the Queen’s blessing to forgo royal duties for at least two months, until she overcomes the threat of sickness.”

Kate Middleton is the mother to Prince George, who was born in July 2013, and Princess Charlotte, who arrived in May, 2015. It’s been widely speculated that she wants to have another brother or sister for the pair in the very near future so that they can replicate the relationship that she had with her sister and brother, James and Pippa Middleton.
