Nathan Griffith’s Ex, Jenelle Evans, Storms Off Set During ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 6 Reunion?
Nathan Griffith’s ex-girlfriend, Jenelle Evans, sat down with Wetpaint Entertainment on September 24 to discuss which of her Teen Mom 2 co-stars had the most difficult season. Speaking to the entertainment website, the former fiancée of Nathan Griffith, named Leah Messer, explaining her recent stint in treatment showed strength, and caused Evans to be reminded of her own public struggles.
“I’ve been there,” Nathan Griffith’s ex told the site. “I’ve been in that situation. I’ve done it. It’s hard. I know it’s very hard to admit you’re wrongs and for her to even share her story is very strong.”
As fans of Teen Mom 2 will recall, Evans, the mother of Nathan Griffith’s 1-year-old son, Kaiser, entered rehab a couple of seasons ago to address her addiction to drugs.
As for tonight’s Season 6 finale, Evans claimed it “ends weird,” due to her and Nathan Griffith’s on-again, off-again relationship.
“It’s like in the middle of [Nathan Griffith] wanting to be back with me but breaking up with her. But then the reunion, I’m back with [Nathan Griffith], and then after the reunion, now I’m not. So, you guys will see how we are back together, and then not, and then back together, and then not! It’s crazy.”
In July, Evans and Nathan Griffith traveled to Los Angeles, where they filmed the Season 6 reunion along with her mother, Barbara, who has custody of her son, Jace, 6. During the show, claimed Nathan Griffith’s ex, she stormed off stage after feeling overwhelmed by Nathan Griffith’s strained relationship with her mother.
“I remember I end up walking off stage… I was stuck between [Nathan Griffith] and my mom arguing on the couch… So, I left.”
During an interview with Radar Online in early August, Nathan Griffith claimed to be the one who pulled the plug on his engagement to Evans, claiming his former fiancée was addicted to drama and threatening to ruin his life after their breakup.
“I was with Jessie before and I’m with her again. Jenelle and I are not together and I did not cheat on her. She knows we have been broken up… She kept telling me ‘I’m going to ruin your life,’ and I just don’t care anymore. I don’t care. I can’t take it anymore.”
