You’ve been on date after date with this man. All he does is give you the same lines. He’ll talk your ear off about how good you are in bed, how you make him climb the walls when you do those things you do, and how sexy you are. But something’s missing. Are you burned out with the whole dating thing? Has the sparkle faded from your love affair? Chances are: you’ve become numb to the routine. Dating is a wonderful thing, when done right. It can lead to lasting relationships and deep emotional bonds that make two people warm up to each other in ways they never imagined.
Once you begin to crave more, the sex talk and games just don’t seem to be enough. It’s like settling for a peanut butter & jelly sandwich when you want roast beef and gravy. There’s nothing wrong with wanting more from dating. It’s a natural instinct.
The dating scene today has turned into nothing more than a get-what-you-can-when-you-want-it circus. There was a time when most, if not all, dating was geared towards finding a husband or wife. The most you can expect to get out of dates today is the possibility of going on another, if you’re lucky. There are some people who will cut you off, if you don’t give up the cookies on day one.
The moment you sense a glitch in the program, you need to turn and walk away. If you have your focus on gaining a husband from the dating game, you need to be savvy and focused.
Never Agree To See Other People
Once you give in to the game, you’re a dead fish in the water. No man is going to allow a woman he sees as potential marriage material to date another man. Wake up. It’s merely an excuse to grant him access to other women. If he’s even entertaining the thought of being with someone else, you need to cut the cord and let him ride solo. He has no intention of turning into a husband at the present.
Be Aware Of Too Many Female Friends
This can be tricky. Men and women can be friends. It’s not that hard. But if he has female friends that he never talks about, yet you see him on the phone constantly, you may need to clear the air. When there are secret or hidden friendships, those are usually the freaks and hit-it-quit-it connections. When a man is serious about you, those people are either put on hold or ignored until his time with you is over. They become second on the list while he sorts out his intentions with you. If they can turn his head, you’re fighting a losing battle.
Don’t Be Ashamed To Admit A Mistake
Yes, you’re human. We all make mistakes. The biggest and messiest seem to be when it comes to dating and relationships. What we think was a godsend can turn out to be a curse of the grandest magnitude. If you feel like you’ve made a dating mistake, take a deep breath, forgive yourself, and find the courage to move on. Talk it over, don’t take attitudes and start drama. Expose the reasons why you feel the need to change and stick to your decision.
