MTV Star Leah Messer On Twitter: ‘Stars Can’t Shine Without Darkness’

MTV star Leah Messer will be seen feuding with her ex-husband Corey Simms’ pregnant wife, Miranda, during the upcoming sixth season finale of Teen Mom 2. On the show, the two women have been at odds due to the MTV star’s behavior, but on Twitter, the MTV star has remained positive.

On September 21, the MTV star shared a retweet with fans that read, “Stars can’t shine without darkness.”

In a message to the MTV star along with the retweet, a fan had written, “Honestly Hun, the darkest times are the hardest but you’ll get through it I’ve been down that path!”

Throughout Season 6 of Teen Mom 2, the MTV star has dealt with a number of issues, most of which have appeared to be the result of drug use rumors, which she denies. In addition to a messy split from her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, which saw rumors of infidelity and addiction, the MTV star faced a custody battle over her and Simms’ twins, Ali and Aleeah, 5.

As fans have seen, Simms and his wife, who is currently expecting his third child (the first for her), have been insistent that the MTV star is hiding a drug problem. And while many fans of the show have slammed Simms for his accusations, he recently explained his comments on Twitter, letting fans know he and Miranda have good reason to suspect the MTV star is struggling.

“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”

During last week’s episode of the reality series, the MTV star’s divorce from Calvert was made final, and the custody of their daughter, 2-year-old Adalynn, was established. It was also revealed the MTV star would be getting $1,700 in child support from Calvert.
