Corey Simms Attempts To Meet With Leah Messer During ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 6 Finale [Video]

Corey Simms and Leah Messer plan to meet up during the upcoming Teen Mom 2 Season 6 finale, but unfortunately, Messer refuses to follow through with the plan after seeing that Corey Simms’ wife, Miranda, has come along.

In a sneak peek clip of Thursday’s new episode, shared by MTV on September 22, Messer is seen driving to a local restaurant with her two friends, where Corey Simms is waiting with his wife. However, according to Messer, Corey Simms’ wife was not supposed to be there, and once she sees her sitting at a nearby table, she refuses to go into the restaurant.

“I’m not doing the conversation if Miranda is here,” Messer tells her friends of Corey Simms’ wife.

Although the clip ends at that point, it doesn’t appear as though Messer goes in to speak with Corey Simms, and it was also not revealed what the pair intend to speak about. It could, however, have something to do with their ongoing custody battle over twins Ali and Aleeah, 5.

Since filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 6 began, Corey Simms and his ex-wife have been feuding over their children. According to Corey Simms, Messer is unfit and should allow him to be more involved in the girls’ lives — especially since she’s struggled to get them to school on time and Ali to her therapy appointments. In addition, Corey Simms suspects Messer is suffering from a drug addiction and doesn’t feel his children are completely safe with their mother.

Although Corey Simms and his wife have faced backlash due to their allegations against Messer, he recently insisted on Twitter that both he and his wife have good reason to believe Messer could be addicted to pain medication she was prescribed after the birth of her third child, daughter Adalynn, 2. Below is what Corey Simms told fans at the end of last month.

“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”
